It’s a quaint little island right by the golden triangle in the lovely Mekong River. It faces both Burma and Thailand. The people are ever-so-friendly and the little gifts shops are overflowing with gorgeous little things. The food could be better, but the snake whiskey is their specialty and it tastes good, especially when you touch the snake inside with your lips. Delish.
