Beyonce has announcement the name of her album and it is so horrible that Ashlee Simpson would think it’s genius. The long awaited title is I Am…. At first I thought it was such a waste. I take album titles seriously and I think some albums set the mood. But, after a little reading up I found out that it is a two disc set.
The first one is the one that represents Beyonce herself and the second is her alter-ego Sasha Fierce. Does her alter-ego sound like a name of a drag queen from a ball or is it just me. Anyway, the title is supposed to represent both sides, the vulnerable and “real” Beyonce and the party funkster Sasha Fierce. That sure will be a lot of songs to make a whole video album for. But judging from her to lackluster singles and their two-for-one videos, she might be able to pull it off.
Sasha Fierce sounds like the name of a drag queen, the one who’s always rejected and sitting at the corner bar, turning tricks for cash.
So far, I am not impressed by anything she’s doing with the new album……….
