“If you do not tell the truth about yourself
you cannot tell it about other people.”
-Virginia Woolf
I’ve been putting this off for a while. Because I am making a compilation of sad songs for November. Nonetheless, I am excited about the Boyzone comeback like anyone else (anyone?). I’ve always though Stephen Gately was shiny. The Irish lads are giving it another go after the successful revival of Take That and now New Kids On The Block.
PopJustice.com has some insight on what the next singles on P!nk’s Funhouse could be. “Sober,” which was obvious, but I think its not strong enough and “I Don’t Believe You,” which is too acoustic-y but could fare well with the adult contemporary market. In any case, those stickers are rarely true. Remember “I’m That Chick?” I think they are just a ploy to get those less cognizant music buyers to think that there is more than one good single on the album. In this case, lots of good ones.
Gearing up for winter is useless, because, here, it comes and goes fast. But, this boots are fun and I can see myself wearing them with turkish pants. They look a little too Seattle 90s grunge, but the knitted touch adds an interesting element. The are called “Union Work Boots” and they are made by GDC.
I’m sorry. Really? Really? This is the album cover? I don’t know what she wants to convey but I thought it was one of those pirated Thai CD’s with all the Beyonce b-sides. Sasha Fierce my ass. I wouldn’t pick this CD up at a record store if my life depended on it. And the cross. Really? This project is a screaming disaster.
SiA’s “Soon We’ll Be Found” barely left a dent in the charts murmuring somewhere near 100. It’s a pretty slow number, so I didn’t expect much. But, I thought the video was exciting and could grab people. The album was leaked 2 months before its time, but it still managed to get good sales for an independent artist that spread by word-of-mouth and “Breath Me” appearing in Six Feet Under’s finale. Now, it’s time for SiA to cook up another album of beats and/or collaborate with Zero 7. I can’t wait.

The good folks at NikkaCosta.com found my review sexy enough to feature on the website. I was surprised when I found out.
