“VATICAN CITY (Reuters) – The Vatican’s newspaper has finally forgiven John Lennon for declaring that the Beatles were more famous than Jesus Christ, calling the remark a “boast” by a young man grappling with sudden fame.”
Really? Now? The Vatican has been holding the grudge since 1966? I doubt that he would have cared had he been alive. The question is: will a pacifist like John Lennon ever forgive the Vatican for the atrocities it has committed over the last couple of decades. Blasphemy is one thing, genocide is another.
The opening of Atlantis was a great spectacle, I have to say. The palm came to life. I have never seen such a display of fireworks. But, it wasn’t fun swimming in a beach the next day with pieces of firework cardboard floating around. The environment, anyone?
Alesha Dixon of Mis-Teeq fame’s second album just leaked and that sucks for her, because she needs to prove herself and that will hinder the sales. However, I hear its really good. The Alesha Show was supposed to be her comeback album and her first chance at solo success. Her first album did very badly and only made it in Japan. I look forward to hearing it.
I don’t know why she’s been looking like she just woke up in her public appearances lately.
How amazing is that?
I have listened to the new album and I think its OK. Just OK.
“Rock Me In” is the only track that satisfies my pop binge.
According to this article, Michael Jackson has been converted. These rumors have been circulating for ages now, but this one seems to be true as all the news agencies are talking of it. It started with Jermaine Jackson and then the Bahrain residence and now his name is Mikaeel. I don’t understand why you have to change your name if you convert. It’s not mandatory. And he has the world’s most recognized name. I don’t know what to think of this but he sure looks good in a burqa.
