It’s not Britney. It’s not Madonna. It’s Maria Mena. A little-known Norwegian artist. Great backdrop, impeccable dress and fitting typeface. I like it and the singles are not so bad either.

Record companies no longer spend any money on videos. As you can see. But, if you are going to release a concept album that is so different from your previous work, you should at least work on packaging it well. This album was, by far, the worst Goldfrapp album, but the singles were not so bad. They all got lackluster videos and, as a result, measly airplay.

It’s Not Me, It’s You – Lily Allen’s highly anticipated second album has leaked. There are tracks of it floating all over the mp3 blogs and the whole album is bound to surface soon. It was due for a February 2009 release. I wonder if this will change the plan.

The second single came fast and as we can see, the video features Anastacia in her house trying to look fresh and cutesy. It kind of reminds me of when Geri Halliwell tried to get all cuddly and pillowy plush for Passion. Total cost: €300. The song is sweet for my sweets and that’s the only thing that is working for this second single. I don’t see this album doing anything.

The news is in. The next single has been leaked. It is called “Melt (Like An Iceberg).” The album is set to be titled Pulse. Excited? Yes!
