Still getting off my Human high, I took some time out to revisit Brandy’s impressive career. She is one of the only artists that has never released a track I don’t like, a claim I am not willing to bestow on any of my greats from Mariah Carey to Ani DiFranco. This is her debut single and I have to say it still sounds as sumptuous and sexy as the first time I listened to it. I never got bored of it and I am still jamming to it. Back then I knew her as the girl from Thea from KTV2. I really hope “Long Distance” gets the kudos it deserves and “1st & Love” becomes a single.
