Sugababes already on another album, no tour…

According to Amelle, Sugababes are apparently going right back to the studio to record another album on the week their second single is released. There will be no tour and they will concentrate on making the next album a hit. The album wasn’t really given a chance by the public. Maybe it was the single choices, the blazé videos, the rushed release, the uninviting cover, or the looming Girls Aloud cloud. In any case, I am sure there are pop gems to discover deep in Catfights & Spotlights.

3She is taking this double-A side thing seriously. As if she was the first one to invent that. This is another $5 video for a lackluster song that will be the bane of every adult contemporary lover. It’s not “Irreplaceable,” it’s not even “Me, Myself & I.” The only song I like from the whole Sasha Fierce bonanza is “Radio” and I have a feeling it’s too staccato for actual radio. Although the lyrics are a bit kiss-ass. Watch this rise because of the banji girl demographic.
Must-Watch: Milk (2008)

I have been waiting for this movie for a long time. I am very familiar with Harvey Milk’s life and work. When rumors of this movie surfaced, I was both excited and anxious. I was afraid that in the hollywoodization of this film his life would be misrepresented and the issues not given the right treatment. I have to say that the movie does as much justice as can, considering the fact that it has to squeeze in a person’s life in approximately two hours.
Sean Penn has always been an actor to reckon with and James Franco is just pure eye-candy. The movie goes back in time to depict the early days of the gay civil rights movement post-Stonewall and pre-HIV/AIDS. In a time that was drenched in ignorance and intolerance towards any sexual minority. San Francisco was center stage for the liberal front, where hippies, gays and other social outcasts gathered to fit in. In the process they managed to elect the first openly gay governmental figure in US history (if you don’t count Abraham Lincoln).

The commercial looks exciting, the airline colors look better. I still can’t get over the banal name, but I hope they add exciting and marvelous destinations to there route map. Dubai doesn’t quite cut it.
