beirutAs much as I like Beirut, I don’t think they got it right this time. I mean Beirut has its charm, but it is definitely not the greatest spot on Earth to vacation in. At first, I thought the article was trying new things, but it totally discredited itself when they put Doha, Qatar in 9th place. Dubai, maybe. But, Doha?

In addition, Jamie Foxx, Martin Luther King III, Queen Latifah and Denzel Washington will read historical passages, with the Rev. Gene Robinson delivering the invocation.

India Arie unveils new album cover…

untitled-41This is the cover for the long awaited Testimony: Vol. 2, Love & Politics. The album was supposed to come out earlier but it has been pushed back a couple of times and is slated, now, for a February release. I don’t know why all the neosoul artists are doing this album-series thing. Jill scott did it first and now India Arie, Erykah Badu and Maxwell are all following suit.
