Girls Aloud barely held on to their top-10 singles (“sengles” according to Nadine) with “The Loving Kind” by landing on the #10 spot. It’s their 18th top-10 hit in the UK. Meanwhile, the Saturdays climb to #4 surprisingly. Anyway, the single was lackluster and they had many other choices. I think back in their head they thought that it’s be a sequel to “Call The Shots,” but it is far from it. I hope the next one is a wise choice.

The Sri Lankan army might have closed in on the last stronghold of Tamil Tiger militants in the north part of the island. They might have moved to the forest but the Tigers are looking weakened. I am not to sure about the aggression on either side and I am a advocate the secession of any land if the people wanted so. But, an end to fighting is always great.
