M.I.A. gives birth
M.I.A. has informed her fans through her MySpace page that she has given birth to a healthy and beautiful boy . She stated that she got into labor hours after her Grammy performance. M.I.A.’s fiance Benjamin Bronfman was by her side and she jokingly stated that the family’s planning a tour together.

Amy Winehouse in hospital, again
Amy Winehouse has been admitted to the hospital for the 862nd time, this time in the Caribbean where she is vacationing for deacded in St. Lucia. Officials say the drugs she needs to get her off of other drugs ran out. Really? Was it the best choice for her record company to give her the money to do her album in Jamaica, out of all places? What kind of record did they expect if Stronger was ever to see the light of day? Is “Puppy Love” going to be on it?

Ladyhawke’s debut album was impressive sonically. It was an auditory journey that synced from start to finish, however, it was quiet low on single-material. That is why the best song on there is getting a rehashing. “Paris is Burning” is probably being re-introduced as a dance song to reach new audiences and radio stations. It was good to begin with, I wouldn’t touch it.

Apparently, Jay-Z is hella mad at Chris Brown for the alleged Rihanna beating and is seeking revenger. Some sources says that he “hit the roof” and referred to Brown as “a walking dead man.” Jay-Z had been behind Rihanna’s career since the get-go and it is rumored that “Ring The Alarm” by Beyonce was written about Rihanna. This was further sparked when Rihanna was no sent an invite to Beyonce and Jay-Z’s wedding.
