Ladyhawke’s debut album was impressive sonically. It was an auditory journey that synced from start to finish, however, it was quiet low on single-material. That is why the best song on there is getting a rehashing. “Paris is Burning” is probably being re-introduced as a dance song to reach new audiences and radio stations. It was good to begin with, I wouldn’t touch it.
Jay-Z is mad at Chris Brown at Rihanna bashing…
16
Apparently, Jay-Z is hella mad at Chris Brown for the alleged Rihanna beating and is seeking revenger. Some sources says that he “hit the roof” and referred to Brown as “a walking dead man.” Jay-Z had been behind Rihanna’s career since the get-go and it is rumored that “Ring The Alarm” by Beyonce was written about Rihanna. This was further sparked when Rihanna was no sent an invite to Beyonce and Jay-Z’s wedding.

1Ciara performs with Enrique
1Now that Ciara’s album has a set release date in April, she is making the promo rounds. My hopes are not up too high for this release as the 3 songs I have heard sound mediocre. Also, this duet sounds like it can be a hit song that can linger annoyingly.
The origin of republicans…

Video: “If This Isn’t Love” by Jennifer Hudson
Sounds like a reply to The Saturdays’ “If This Is Love.”
Margaret Cho gets back at Miley Cyrus

Here’s what Margaret Cho has to say about incident:
Miley Cyrus made some chinky eyes
Standing behind an Asian guy
I don’t know if this should fly
As if there wasn’t enough to despise
Lily Allen does America…
1It’s Not Me, It’s You is a quick grower. And album alert post is coming soon. She is doing the promotion for the US now. Why is it that whenever an artist leaves and then comes back their new album is more “mature.” I mean, people grow. I don’t think this one is more mature than Alright, Still. How annoying are American TV presenters like Dan Rather? Chinese food is a sign of maturity? Especially, when he is next to someone so frank in speech like Lily Allen.

Video: “We Walk” by The Ting Tings
I knew this was going to be a single. I was afraid that this album’s run was over. But, We Started Nothing has more gems.
Bat For Lashes to return with Two Suns
Acclaimed experimentalism is always welcome and this time it’s none other than Bat For Lashes, who is set to release her sophomore effort sometime this coming April. Two Suns is already put together and ready for release. The album cover is a little too goth for her. I mean she could’ve been on a slab of platinum falling from the skying and trying to dodge the passing neon lights. that would have been better.
Video: “In For The Kill” by La Roux

The visuals to La Roux are amusing. “Quicksand” was great and now “In For The Kill” is up to par.

Video: “Let It Go” by Will Young
This is the third single from the increasingly beautiful album Let It Go. He must be shifting digits, if this album saw a third single. I would have picked “Disconnected” or “Love,” but this one is scrumptious and the video sexily low-budgeted.

They’re looking good, as usual.
