The tour dates have been announced and it seems that Michael will be in London the entirity of July. This Is It is the event not to miss this year (the event to miss this year: Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet extension). I am mucho excited about this and will do everything to go see him. I went to his last tour (HIStory) and it was just spectacular. And if this is really the farewell tour, I wouldn’t miss it for the world. There’s a lot of talk about how he couldn’t do what we formerly was capable of. Well, If MJ was on a wheelchair and on a yodeling tour, I’d still go to see it. The tour dates after the jump:
The US becomes less religious
According to a new study atheists, agnostics and other non-believers has not only become greater in the US, but it has doubled. This means that not only are non-believers a big chunk of the population, but the third largest belief group after catholics and baptists. I think that this is the case everywhere in world. Some countries that do not allow religious freedom might be surprised as to how many non-believers there are around them. It’s just that most liberals do not like to tread on people’s toes and this causes a silence about pertinent issues like religion and disbelief. Good for the US. That’s a big number. Half a billion women are illiterate in the world. I don’t know what exactly is expected of people from the message, but I guess it’s just to get people talking.

Ani DiFranco’s “Promiscuity” banned in Singapore
2What a shame! Ani DiFranco’s only live date in Asia ever and she can’t even sing her new songs. Meanwhile, Lil’ Wayne’s “Lollipop” is filling up all the clubs from Sentosa Island to Tantric. Singapore has to liberalize its laws and jump into the 21st century. She is not saying anything obscene by any standards. It’s just her point of view and I fully agree.

Video: “My Love” by The-Dream & Mariah Carey
1Who knew that Mariah can do the proletariat so well. And a bad hair day, too. This song has the potential to be #1 in the US and in the US only. It sounds good, her vocals are impeccable and radio is just going to eat it up. Also, I heard that it would count as a #1 for her and not just The-Dream. So, yay.
