I still can’t get over Jay Brannan from one of the best movies I have watched my entire life titled Shortbus. I have followed his folk career every now and then and this is his latest.

Oki-Ni has just launched an archive of the company’s achievements with Raf. This include this hella haute hoodie. Read more about it here.
Who does she think she is? GaGa, of course!
Evidence that Barack Obama is cool as a green t-shirt on St. Patrick’s day keeps pouring in. The latest tidbit is that a gift , that was apparently an iPod, was given to none other than Queen Elizabeth II on his recent trip to Buckingham Palace. And Michelle Obama is doubley as cool for not curtseying.
Last time he visited London Obama gave Sarah “hide her” Brown a set of DVD’s that were not from the same region. So, she couldn’t view them in the UK unless she has a regionless DVD player. And, being in the UK, the rules are the rules. But she could probably get them for 19.99 pounds on an HMV sale in Oxford Street.
As we all wait for New Amerykah Part Two (Return of the Ankh) to get a release date, Erykah Badu is busy at work singing portraits of her for charity or something like that. The second installment of the trilogy had a february release originally, but not disappear from the radar and left us all wondering in true Badu style. She will only do an album if she runs out of pot money.
The republican party gets kicked out after 8 years of hatemongering and everything fabulous and wonderous comes back better and brighter. First lush dance music is back and celebrated (GaGa, LadyHawke, La Roux, Antigone), drag makes one of the fiercest comebacks (RuPaul’s Drag Race, The Tyra Banks Show) and voguing is back and better than ever. Diva Davanna, from the one and only House Of Latex, is a tiny marvel here to show you how to werq. She is becoming quiet the headliner at balls and she deserves it.
There has yet to be a consensus on the whole Iran issue and it seems that Obama’s hand is still outstretched for some sort of compromise not only because that would be the wise thing to do after Bush’s waging of two unlawful wars, but also because, frankly, the US can’t afford an all out debacle with Iran right about now. The Iranian government have a choice of accepting this sort-of-truce or retreating.
Nothing better to start of the month of a great slice of scandipop. Agnes is here to stay and this is her second single from the aptly titled Dance Love Pop.
Another track on the compilation. It’s a fun track, but not her or his best. Her dancing is magnifique.
It’s hard to believe that this has been going on now for 5 years. Half a decade of hits for every month. This name sticks around every year and it is the one I started with. This is the fun, uptempo, dance-driven compilation that is sure to start off your summer on a good note. It is the complete opposite of the one before it. It is poppy, yet still eclectic. If you would like a copy email me so I can tell you how to get it. Get up and get this year’s offering for April. I hope you like.
This is obnoxiosly pretentious. But, I like it.
