She’s very dry with interviewers and she comes off a little bitchy, which is very Madonna circa Erotica. She better not get the Gallagher syndrome and start thinking she’s all that and forgetting about her art. At any rate, anything she touches now goes platinum. I wonder how Aguilera feels about that.
Positions by locations
2According to statistics collected from Craig’s List this is the throwdown in the US. What do you think? Here’s the full article.
Susan Boyle lost, do I care?
1Obviously! Even if I don’t like to admit it and i never understood any of the songs she was warbling everyone loves a story of triumph against the odds. I wouldn’t buy her CD, but it would have been a victories moment. Diversity or whatever they are called are really not that fab. Anyway, this is how it go.
Let’s get skimpy for summer…
2And what better way to do this then to get the shortest shorts possible. I found these in all possible colors at Lad Musician and I basically think they are the raddest thing since Lindsay Lohan started using the word “rad.” It’s lovely out. Get some sun.
Revolution in technology: Google Wave
So e-mailing, chatting, forums and blogging are now put all together on this one website. What’ll happen to twitter? facebook? wordpress? Will Google rule the world? Too many too much too far. The translator made me cry. It bridges the world.
Madonna immortalized on NYC street
3It’s here: Jay Leno’s last show
1It’s been quite the 18 years for Jay Leno. Coming out as a stand-up who did gigs for nuns and then becoming on of the most highly respected people in the world of media. It’s his last show tonight as the host. Next week Conan takes over. Although, i am I think O’Brian is hella cool, it’s just be different that he is no longer the it-man, so to speak. David Letterman’s lingering on. If I were Jay I would guest on the Letterman show for good old times sake. He’ll have another show, but I am not sure how different it will be. Jay Leno’s biography is one of the first books I ever read. I felt like I knew him. Lol. That’s a bit stalkerazzi isnt it. Anyway, it’s the time of change and here comes change.
Now that discrimination is on the books…
It’s hard to assess what is to become of the Calfornian courts decision to uphold the right for many to marry. On one side they shut up and calmed down the raging conservatives for a hot minute and that is always good for politics since they are the big funders of against civil rights movements. On the other hand, those judges probably washed away a bit of their guilt with the decision to take out 18,000 couples out of limbo and actually giving them the right to stay in a marriage. So, even if they think they achieved something with this, they left without taking a standpoint. What is to make of a couple of judges who OK some marriages and not others. They definitely are not right-wing or left-wing. They are just feeding their own prejudice without wanting to look inhumane. This will be looked on as a bump in the road and a misstep from the courts who came to this wishy-washy conclusion. In any case, their credibility lost more tract with Arnold Schwarzenegger’s public insistence that marriage equality will inevitably happen in California. They’re just stretching hate and defacing California’s image as a progressive state especially after Iowa just got it. Proposition 8 might be here, but it’s not here to stay.
Video: “Pearl’s Dream” by Bat For Lashes

Out of all the tracks on Two Suns that didn’t look like a single. But, with Bat For Lashes, you never know. It’s a good track though and the video matches.
Music For June: Homoslick
4It’s time to warm it up (with love). The compilation has finished and this is the end product. A pack of sweet, sultry, smooth, soulful and slick tracks ordered to sexify your world. This time around I went for the melting sensations. You know when the music is nice and templated and smooth and sensual. The major genres on it are soul, R’n'B and Jazz. Inspired partially by a trip to New Orleans and, also, mainstream American radio. It’s called Homoslick. Yes, you got it right. That is because it’s homogenous (in terms of genre only) and homosexual (on the weekends). And slick because it’s smooth, as I said before. I like listening to it at home, while cooking (like I know a spatula from a spoon). Anyway, I hope you enjoy the molten serving of hot chocolate.
Must-Watch: Video: “Paparazzi” by Lady GaGa
1
Everybody knows that this is the make-or-break single. The record company and GaGa had to make it fabulous for it to be her 3rd big hit in the US. That’s why we get this lengthy video for the single, even when the labels have given up on them. The hair is just ostentatious in keeping with the theme.

It’s Burberry Day…

Whatever that is!
Notebooks as sliced bread
1
Truly, the best thing since sliced bread are sliced bread looking notebooks. They are designed Burak Kaynak and Cem Has and are meant to be the new schedule-keeping fad. They come as a dozen with the number of the month on the ridge of each. It’s bound to give the diary a new make-over and a stylish new norwegian-wood colored aura. You can get them here or click below for more pics.
Must-Watch: Video: “Pale Horses” by Moby
1
The second video and equally as good. It’s cuter, but still deep. The songs are just off the proverbial hook. They very sombre and lounge-worthy. Just how we like them.
Lady GaGa readies up “Paparazzi”
The GaGa’s next single is going to be “Paparazzi,” which many think is one of the best tracks on The Fame on first listen. As always, the dress is fantastical and the cover is not bad at all. Expect all kinds of dance floor mixes and a video that will be prophetically Lady. She big now and no longer on the gay-boy fringes of dance pop, but she won’t budge or tone down as you can tell by her Rolling Stone magazine cover.
