What a lovely little advertisement. It seems that the world still can’t escape the shackles of the Reagan administration. Hopefully people will get wise and stop outlawing a plant.
Mariah Carey opens Turkey hotel
Mariah’s back on the touring circuit it seems. She has opened a hotel in Antalya, Turkey on Saturday. The hotel is called the Mardan Palace Hotel and it’s opening attracted (or paid) such celebrities as Richard Gere, Sharon Stone, Tom Jones and Seal among others.
Susan Boyle does another performance
1This time the hopeful opted for a song from Cats (titled “Memories”) and she did well as everyone anticipated. She walked in looking fierce if not a little angry and for all of those people talking about a make-over, I don’t see that much of a change. And, being a pop fan I don’t know how much I can relate to her broadway-ness. She seems more confident this time and hopefully she will continue her winning streak. She will: this story is rated “volcanic” on google search engines. Everybody is looking for the video to watch what she will do next. It seems like Simon Cowell has found his newest cash cow, now that Leona Lewis is on hiatus.
LeToya is now Lady Love
The second solo effort from Beyonce kick-out LeToya is set to come out real soon and give us a bunch of R&B and Soul hits for the next couple of months. The album cover is really rather blah, but it goes with the first video. “Not Anymore” is a solid track and the album should have some fun tracks.

June’s almost here and I am doing some good old compiling. i wanted to go for a sultry R&B mix of slow jams and smooth chocolate-y sounds. But there is only a tiny demographic that will have the patience for that kind of beat. I will definitely incorporate that aspect as a section of the effort. We’ll see what’ll happen but suggestions are always welcome.
