Has #iranelection died down?

Now that the Ayatollah and the forced Iranian president have managed to scare the population into silence of sorts, there’s no saying on what will happen to the Irani elections debacle. At one point the revolution looked formidable. The population was not going to bow down to the election results and the truth of “over-counting” came out. But, now there is less and less news on the elections and Twitter is no longer flooded with #iranelection posts. It has disappeared from the trends sections. I wonder if this is just a plateau or has the Irani people really been forced into accepting the results from their government and the indifference of the west. Kind of like how the west is afraid of China and is willing to forgo i’s human rights violations in place of better economic ties?

I never thought that all the hype would actually change the outcome, that’s honestly unrealistic, sad but unrealistic.
However, all the hype made the world aware, shook the current government a bit, and they’ve learned not to underestimate their people.
    That was worth it.
