Following the news that “Obsessed” dropped 9 places on the chart and is apparently considered a flop by some people because it on reached #11 (when was #11 a flop? And in a recession?), Mariah, as I predicted before, is readying up another single that is rumored to hit the airwaves this upcoming week titled “100%.” The track already made its debut on Hot 97 and is apparently “dope.” It’s produced by The-Dream and is supposed to be another mid-tempo belter. I feel like it’s time for a grand old epic ballad, people love that.
At any rate, the progress of “Obsessed” is not over. Some lambs have set up an online petition to buy as many singles online as possible. This saturday, buy the single or download or request or purchase the Gucci Mane remix now on iTunes. Still, I don’t know what all the fuss is about, it’s not like it did poorly. “Anytime You Need A Friend” reached #16, it didn’t stop the song from being a classic. Plus, “I’ll Be Lovin’ U Long Time” reached #58 and it made some waves. Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel could still have a bunch of #1′s.
I don’t know why but I have a feeling 100% won’t do the job they want. Its title is not promising, it’s a mid-tempo The Dream song (although he has some great ones), and isn’t it the same song she recorded for Precious?
I’d rather she releases HATEU instead, the demo version sounded great, and one can only think what Mariah would do with it.

obsessed seriously gets redundant after a while. thats pretty sad that the only way mariah can even try to reach number 2 or 3 is through a lamb petition to buy as many singles as possible (a fan site thats been shut down twice because of made up facts and lies)
