Radiohead officially release new song for free

Not only have Radiohead confirmed that the leaked track “These Are My Twisted Words” is off of their next album, but also made it available for free on their website. The song is very Kid A in it’s arrangement and the vocals only start halfway through. The song continues their streak of greatness. Another song from the forthcoming album titled “Harry Patch (In Memory Of)” is also available for the fee of £1. We can’t say that they are going in the right direction because they never strayed out of it.

Björk’s first album found

Björk’s first album, which was released only in Iceland with a limited number of copies, is very hard to find. It’s almost as much of a collectible as the first vinyl pressings of Elvis Presley’s christmas album. So, it came as a beautiful surprise when we found it today while looking for some obscure remixes. And, more so, the 11 year old’s effort is not so bad. It’s filled with cover songs translated into Icelandic with the exception of one song writtern by her stepdad called “Arabadrengurinn,” which means “The Arab Boy.” I wonder what this song is about, can anyone find the English translation. At any rate, it’s a great find.

We are currently working on a one-off compilation of relaxed covers versions that will be at your disposal very soon. We were wondering if any of you have suggestions. They can’t be singles and they can’t be above midtempo. It’s a mix that should be played in the background but not loud on speakers. Like a chill cover version compilation with songs that are cool enough to be covered but not too big to be cliched. Is that too specific?

We haven’t given “It Kills Me” enough time to flourish in our minds because we are currently stuck on repeat on “Monday Morning” and “Sad Songs.” However, we are sure it’s a grower and the video you should show a different side of Melanie Fiona.

We should have bitten our own tongues before insinuating that neosoul may be dead. An accidental stumble lead us to Muhsinah – a new raw talent that proves us otherwise. The American soulstress has recently released her latest “installation” of music. She calls them that because unlike the album-to-album releases most everyone does, she releases a record and then adds and edits along the way. It’s makes for a hard catalogue to track down, but one can’t judge an artist’s personal evolution.

Pop sensations are hard to get by, but if anyone has the moxy to be foxy it’s Livvi Franc. Her hit song “Now I’m That Bitch” is hitting the airwaves hard with its midtempo saunter reminiscent of Rihanna, whom she shares Bajan heritage with. Her voice is also similar to that of Rihanna’s. The similarities don’t end there. Her debut album is titled Underground Sunshine and Ms. Disturbia’s first is called Music Of The Sun.

There’s a rumor circulating around twitter and the blogosphere about Eminem dying in a car crash today. It’s getting so much attention that it’s one of the most searched phrases today. So, in a manner of speaking out, we have to put in our two cents. Also, we have heard the rumor and got real excited that karma actually works. But, the truth is we never address Eminem here because we don’t like prejudice and bigotry. So, if he is really deceased now this would be one of the few cases where we don’t mourn. He advocated the killing of a women. He promotes violence against women, gays and lesbians. He hates everyone, including black women, and then brands himself a pioneer in rap. He is just an all-around nasty person. Even if he slams some great rap, how can one like the content if it is that hateful?
