To make up for the fact that she postponed Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel 2 times now, Mariah and her camp have decided to release a box set of all her Island Records albums. From the underrated Charmbracelet, to the comeback hit The Emancipation Of Mimi, to her latest E=MC2. This would give the fans her entire musical efforts singe Glitter. The package will come with a nice price tags for all the recessionistas out there and probably a booklet of sorts.

List of Christina Aguilera’s impressive producer line-up for next album
11Christina Aguilera has one of the strongest voices of our era. No doubt about it. As much as we love her, we thought that the greatest hits collection was premature and Back To Basics, though it had some solid gems, had too much fluff. Still, we don’t doubt for one second her ability to deliver unlike any of her generation. If you ask us who won the Mickey Mouse Club race to the top, we’d say Christina.
Still, ever since Stripped, which is one of the greatest pop album on this green earth, we haven’t seen much of a cultural impact, let alone a single that stood up by itself. But, it’s looking like Xtina is about to rectify that with the impressive list of producers she has on the Light & Darkness bandwagon. Click below for it.

It’s not a spelling or grammatical error. That’s the song title. This is the second time we feature her and she is starting to grown on us a tiny bit.
It’s La Roux’s year…
4What a year it has been for La Roux. The duo that everyone mistakes for Elly Jackson, but, in reality, includes Ben Langmaid, who is behind the scenes but half of it. Out of all the bands pitted to take over 2009, La Roux wins the proverbial cup. When I first was introduced to them I thought the band was too concept-driven and stuck in a different time to penetrate this Rihanna market. But, it turns out La Roux had some solid hits hidden behind “Quicksand.” Both other singles were stronger: “In For The Kill” and “Bulletproof.” Other tracks that titillate on the debut album are “I’m Not Your Toy” and “As If By Magic.” Also, it is important to note that they’re other strong feature is their visual conceptualizing. Their videos are some of the best we’ve seen this year.
This video is mad fun

Amanda Blank releases “I Love You”
Amanda Blank, one of the best new acts of 2009, has released her debut album I Love You. Although we thought it’s going to have more of a street edge and an urban sophistication, it actually verges on Peaches territory and is heavy on electronic beats even if some of the lyrics sound like raps. Unfortunately, the best track on there is “Might Like You Better.” Other than that, it’s an OK record.

9This time it’s the Jehovah’s Witnesses, but it really plays out in every form in the same manner. Fear makes people do anything, even disregard science and fact.
Don’t Quote Me, Vol. 234
Exclusive: Video: “Pull My Heart Away” Jack Peñate
The guy that is currently holding #1 spot in our hearts for the year-end charts has released his 3rd video for his new single. “Pull My Heart Away” is one of the great songs that make a spectacular album. Everything Is New is truly impressive, especially considering Matinee was the one to top, too. The video was filmed in the Jordanian desert. The single will be released on the 24th of August.
SiA has no clue about Zero 7′s new album
2
SiA has tweeted today that she doesn’t know what Yeah Ghost is. Yeah Ghost is the name of the new album “her band” Zero 7 is releasing very soon. SiA has been on every Zero 7 album. She had lended vocals and other skill to Simple Things, When It Falls and The Garden. She may be to expensive now that she is working with Christina Aguilera. Or maybe the chill-out duo wanted to delve into another direction and not invite SiA back. This comes as a shock though, because she might have known that they were back in the studio. Instead, the new album will feature vocals by Eska Mtungwazi, Martha Tilston and Rowdy Superstar. To tell you the truth, it’s a sad day for Zero 7 if SiA is not on the record.

Tom Ford for Tom Ford’s Grey Vetiver
1Tom Ford just hired himself again to be the spokesperson and model for her newest cologne Grey Vetiver. He’s flawless, but it’d be nice if he hired someone new, like Ongina maybe? Anyway, his colognes and perfumes are always up to par. So, we only expect the best from this. He describes the fragrance as “the equivalent of the classic blue blazer, the beautiful watch, or the cap-toes shoe.”

Must-Watch: Experiment on homophobia
2We’ve known this all along, it’s just that this is proof for all the naysayers. If you are confident about who you are, you really won’t judge other people. But, it’s only when the insecurities kick do they go crazy. Does this out every single bigot in the world? No. But it sure does give a clear picture where all this hatred is coming from. Just like the guy that leaves obscene comments on my blog but keeps checking it everyday and at different times. Don’t you have something better to do if this is not really your type of scene?
