Mariah Carey has recreated her first single cover for “Vision Of Love” for her mini-tour poster in Las Vegas. The show is set to happen in September and October in the midst of her promotion of the new album Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel. The Pearl will host the event. We hope that MC is not testing things out to embark on some sort of residency in the state of Nevada, a la Toni Braxton and Celine Dion. Click below to see the original artwork for her first single in 7″ form from our personal collection.

Exclusive: Video: “New York” by Paloma Faith

1

One of our favorite upcoming artists of the year has already released her second video. It’s called “New York” and even though it’s not as strong as the lead single, it will fair well. The third single has to be great, though. The album Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful? is set for a September 28th release.

MIKA reveals cover for “The Boy Who Knew Too Much”

Mika - The Boy Who Knew Too Much (Official Album Cover) Thanx to RAUL LEGACY

The album won’t be called We Are Golden as reported before. Now, it is The Boy Who Knew Too Much. He’s continuing with his cartoon theme and it works. “We Are Golden” is a grower but can get annoying with all the screams and yelps. The second single should be a stunner or the album might not be what he wants it to be in this downloading age.

“Million Dollar Bill” – the Alicia Keys-penned disco number that is set to bring Whitney Houston back to the forefront of divaland has been leaked. It’s making the illegal blog rounds right now. Not that we love following the law. Anyway, this cover for the single hits too close to Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel territory. Mariah won’t be mad though she loves Whitney.

Sony inventing a 2 TB memory stick

504x_bigsonymemorystickxcThat’s pretty huge for a camera, as my friend sea shells puts it. I mean, it would be great for really high-res pics. This definitely won’t be cheap. Also, i am having this feeling that tech heads rob us now. If sony can fit that much space into this tiny drive then why does my iPod only have 120 GB worth of space. Surely they can invent an iPod shuffle with 1 TB. Yeah, that would be nice.
