Brett Ratner is releasing a number of music videos he directed on DVD. His biggest customer, of course, is Mariah Carey and that’s why she is featured on the cover. It’s called The Shooter Series, Volume One: Brett Ratner and it is bound to contain some divalicious videos like “These Boots Are Made For Walking” by Jessica Simpson and “Beautiful Stranger” by Madonna. He did a bunch of videos for Mariah including “I Still Believe,” “It’s Like That,” “We Belong Together,” “Heartbreaker,” “Thank God I Found You,” “Touch My Body” and “Obsessed.” Also, LL Cool J’s “Pink Cookies in a Plastic Bag Getting Crushed by Buildings” is his first mainstream music video.

Did Madonna faint in concert?

1 minute into the video she looks like she went dizzy all of a sudden. Actually, she looked less like she was fainting and more like she was possessed. Her dancer tried to wake her up and she got real antsy. He’s getting fired in Sofia. She could have just felt overwhelmed that Michael continues to get more cheers even posthumously.

Must-Watch: Video: “Heartbeat” by Nneka

1

We have been following Nneka and this song for over a year now. We first saw the video on vacation in Austria. She was big there. But, we felt that if it translates, it’ll be too heavy of a message to sell. Apparently not, it just debuted on the UK charts and it’s getting a US release too. It’s wonderful song with a great message from the album No Longer At Ease.

Khalid AlQasimi, a rising designer from the UAE, has dressed not one, but two shining stars on the V Festival stage in the UK. These prominent acts include it-girl of the year and the proud creator of one of the best albums of the year (Lungs) Florence Welch – the lead singer from acclaimed band Florence + The Machine. Florence sported a flowing floral dress from Qasimi. Moreover, the star of the night Lady GaGa also got herself some of the Qasimi stardust. She wore another of his creations for the event during the performance for her debut single “Just Dance.” Click below to watch the video.

Aubrey O’Day thinks Hitler is a brilliant man

She doesn’t know what the hell she is talking about. She has been going crazy ever since she left Danity Kane. Why was she even invited on there. I haven’t seen the whole show but something tells me that Fox got here to come so she can present “the liberal view,” knowing that she doesn’t know shit from crap.

Exclusive: Music For September: Glumella

After a series of happy-go-lucky compilations for the summer, we have collected all the sombre tracks for an autumn release. This is the result. This melancholic offering of electronic chill and dejected lowtempo ditties will sweep you away. It comes in celebration of the fact that many of the acts attributed to this sound have something coming out very soon. The compilation might not win you over at first listen, but once it does it’ll get you glued. The name comes from the feminization of the word “glum,” if there’s such a thing. Glumella might sound depressing, but it’s also soothing. We hope you enjoy it and your feedback is always appreciated.

Must-Watch: Video: “Home” by La Toya Jackson

2

La Toya Jackson is one of our favorite celebrities on earth. Why? Because she is talentless yet diva-ful. She tries and tries and tries and fails yet keeps on failing. She beats Jermaine Jackson when it comes to making money off of her brother, hence this single that was made for charity but also serves as a teaser for her album that has been shelved for ages Startin’ Over.
