Mariah Carey reveals cover for “I Want To Know What Love Is”

The wait is over. The cover for the second single from Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel is out. “I Want To Know What Love Is” is growing on us and this cover is the best of the era. It would have been a better album cover than the one with the triplets. We are glad she’s branching out with new fonts other than Lagune. She looks good and the song’s gospel-tinted drama showcases a different side to the cover that many thought wasn’t doable. Of course, we support Mariah if she released a compilation of farts. But, still it’s great!

The numbers are in and it looks like Whitney’s album will take the top spot beating teen queen Miley Cyrus by a stretch. The sales are estimated to be a quarter of a million during the first week, which is grand for a dying market. That’s enough to put her there for a couple of weeks but it happened all in the debut week. Disney tweens are angry!!

Paloma Faith graces the stage, impresses the world

Wow. This is the first time I notice her voice. She really has a lot going for her. This song is a gem and the two others I’ve heard from Do You Want The Truth Or Something Beautiful? are all good. It must’ve been a fun show.

Natalie Imbruglia heavily remixes “Want”

“Want” is the next single from Natalie Imbruglia’s fourth album, Come To Life, and it sounds nothing like anything she’s ever released before. In fact, it’s a bit of a dance tune. So, we are not surprised to see a bunch of remixes circulating the web for this song. On of the sanctioned remixes is done by the Shapeshifters. Some radio mixes are also available. It’ll be interesting to see the video for this song

Movie rentals to come to YouTube

youtube-logoYouTube is trying to get a chunk of the Amazon and Netflix market. Rumors are abound that the biggest video portal online is doing some test-drives and studies on implementing a movie rental section in its site. The word is that movies will cost $3.99 per movie, which is as much as iTunes is charging. Also, YouTube will allegedly have the movies the day they are released in DVD format. We hope this works for the East, too.

No, it’s not clickable and it’s not on your browser. It’s this elastic band that not only marks the page you were reading, but also allows for easy access and is less likely to fall. Why didn’t anyone think of this earlier it’s just an elongated rubber band. Oh, it also has a little tab to show you where you stopped and should start reading. It’s called the Bookmark II and this is where you get it.
