Cheryl Cole debuts new solo single “Fight For This love”

Yes, she went first to steal that Girls Aloud solo buzz that all the girls are vying for. She’s been a busy girl: doing the Out Of Control Tour, looking over Simon Cowell’s shoulder for approval and doing this solo stint. This means one thing: she probably didn’t write most, if any of the songs, which is probably a good thing. So, the first single will have to be #1 in a “I Want Your Back” by Melanie B kind of way. And, you guessed it, it’s downright R&B. You know, because she is down with the clique and shit. Anyway, this is going to steal some of the stardust from the real star Nadine Coyle, which doesn’t make me happy. But, hey, I have the Irish charts to look forward to.  Click below for the track.

Did Shawne Merriman choke Tila Tequila?

2

Picture 4

The word around the twittersphere is that the most annoying twitterer in the world Tila Tequila has been choke and imprisoned by some jock of a football player named Shawne Merriman. I mean, at points I wanted to choke her for tweeting too much but it should never be beaten up. Especially by a Frankensteinish person, when she is the size of a bisexual gummy bear. Anyway, we hope she is OK and we want her back to annoying us every day all day. She should stop dating crazy boys. The choices on her show are always scary. Man or woman. Yes, this is re-appropriated gossip, now what!?

Britney Spears covers Alanis Morisette’s “You Oughta Know”

We like us some Brit Brit, but we absolutely adore us some Alanis. This song is the classic that never intended to be. And we understand that Britney needs to vent, albeit without lip-syncing. But, why do it so early after Beyonce’s tour rendition? Also, there is a limited amount of hair flippage to this song and she exceeded it.

Chris Crocker hates Perez Hilton

I don’t get why the world is suddenly all up in calling everyone “Hitler.” Maybe it’s because of the misguided correlation between the new socialism and Hitler. Or maybe because republican are using it as a golden word to scare people from Obama, when, in realty, the closest thing we’ve seen to Hitler since WW II is George W. Bush. Anyway, Chris Crocker’s hits are going down, he needs this drama.

Cover for La Roux’s “I’m Not Your Toy”

We loves us some artwork and La Roux have been very eye-catching when it comes to sleeves. This time around the duo opted for less of a futuristic look and more of a 21st-century royalty image. She looks good and fashionable sensible, if we may say so. The song should put them on the map of popdom. From here, it’s probably another single release and then work on another album. They’ve got to keep the buzz going.
