So, no new album in the works for Janet Jackson, but a bunch of newly recorded material for this. This, my friends, is Janet Jackson’s next project. It’s a number 1′s compilation of all the hits songs. This was strange at first as Janet does not have enough 1′s to fill a whole CD, let alone a double CD. But, its turns out that it’s “global” hits. ”Twenty Foreplay” was probably number one in East Timor.
The package is set to include 30 songs, which will have her tribute to Michael Jackson’s “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough” – the newly gifted “Make Me.” Let’s hope that the supposed Madonna collaboration is on there, too.
This song sounds very promising.
After nearly two decades writing and recording some of her generation’s most emotionally powerful music, Tori Amos will release her first seasonal album, Midwinter Graces, on November 10 via Universal Republic. A follow up to Tori’s critically acclaimed studio album, Abnormally Attracted to Sin, Midwinter Graces will find Tori reworking and expanding on classic carols as well as developing some of her very own seasonal tracks.
Jordan aside, Peter Andre is back musically. Trying to reclaim whatever he had going back when he was flogging “Mysterious Girl.” They body’s still there, but we don’t see this or Revelation going anywhere.
Cyndi Lauper showed up and India Arie, too. So, we loved it. India even dueted with Adele. Click below to see the rest.
Ok, see we forgave her for using the Shannon sample in the name of dance. It’s a grower and it can fill up a dancefloor. And in 2009, that’s a feat.
This is probably one of the most special these we have had to announce / talk about. When we first heard about Madonna introducing Janet Jackson we were surprised, as the two divas have had a long-standing animosity between them throughout their divadom. In fact, Janet once called Madonna classless. Look up “diss” and their names on youtube and you will see a myriad of videos.
This is probably the first time in pop history that a fan version video was better than the original. Goes to show you how much Madonna saved up on this lackluster video.
