Jordan aside, Peter Andre is back musically. Trying to reclaim whatever he had going back when he was flogging “Mysterious Girl.” They body’s still there, but we don’t see this or Revelation going anywhere.

Cyndi Lauper showed up and India Arie, too. So, we loved it. India even dueted with Adele. Click below to see the rest.
Ok, see we forgave her for using the Shannon sample in the name of dance. It’s a grower and it can fill up a dancefloor. And in 2009, that’s a feat.
This is probably one of the most special these we have had to announce / talk about. When we first heard about Madonna introducing Janet Jackson we were surprised, as the two divas have had a long-standing animosity between them throughout their divadom. In fact, Janet once called Madonna classless. Look up “diss” and their names on youtube and you will see a myriad of videos.
This is probably the first time in pop history that a fan version video was better than the original. Goes to show you how much Madonna saved up on this lackluster video.
It’s a good day for us here at the Loft965.com camp. We are celebrating our first anniversary. Yes, we are 1. It has been a year since we built this blog that started out with a simple concept but with high aspirations. A lot has changed since the inception of this blog. But, all-in-all it was a great journey and we’ve accomplished a lot.
We never wanted to be a local blog or a personal only-my-friends kind of blog. Also, we refused to use any from of advertising until this blog is up on its feet and successful. The mission was tough at first but we reaped the fruits of our labor later. Our growth rate as of now is 530%, which is more than what was planned. Originally, our game plan was to get a readership that will keep this blog afloat internationally. We have far surpassed that. Actually, we are overwhelmed by the response. We happen to be approaching our best month in numbers.
We are truly happy about what this space has become. Thanks goes out to the contributing bloggers, people who send us ideas, record labels who sent us free stuff, people who forwarded our posts, and everyone that pressed the “bookmark” button on us. You are muchly appreciated and we hope to keep amusing you with this blog for the second year. Thank you.
A cover of The Rolling Stones’ classic “Wild Horses” by Susan Boyle has leaked onto the the cyber world. The track is a heavily covered ditty with powerful lyrics. No word yet as to if it will appear on her debut album. But, if she releases an album of covers I won’t be surprised, because it’s really hard to write for her.

Listen to it…
We miss India.Arie and we want her to get back to writing great poignant songs like this one, even if the topic is not really interesting to us. At any rate, her next album better be fly because Testimony: Vol. 2 Love & Politics was a sad excuse for one.
What she says about GaGa is so true. I feel she does weird for the sake of being weird, not her own personal uniqueness, if you get my drift.
Madonna’s second studio track on her tired old compilation of greatest hits Celebration has leaked in full-length. It’s called “Revolver” and it features it-boy rapper Lil’ Wayne. Oh, and it sounds like (and probably is) a Hard Candy reject. Yes, it is that bad! In fact, it’s a contender for worst song of the year. We wish they had Razzies for music. She’d be bagging a few.
Yes, it’s not a joke. The president of the United States of America has also joined the roster of people hating on Kanye West after the Taylor Swift incident. What we like about him is that he actually watches the VMAs. Bush wouldn’t know the VMAs from WMD’s.
Isaac Mizrahi talks about the recession and how it’s affecting the fashion industry. Also, some tips on survival during these times. But, why did she tank in 1998 when the market was okay?
It’s finally here. The video to “Million Dollar Bill” by Whitney Houston from her highly-touted album I Look To You. The video is nice and does her well. As nice as videos get for big-time artists in the download age. She’s back.
It’s called the iTwinge and it’s here to make your day better.
