Madonna will grace the cover of Rolling Stone magazine yet again this November and it will undoubtedly be an expose on her career to give Celebration another boost. The article is called “Madonna Looks Back” and the cover is of her actually looking back. Deep. Anyway, what is up with biceps borrowing pictures of her from the past for the last couple of projects. We know she’s looking like Jocelyn Wildenstein these days, but she could afford a good retoucher. It would have been nice if she went all out and did a great shoot for Rolling Stone. You know, like one with greying hair and her nursing twin babies on each teat with Lady GaGa and Britney Spears’ faces superimposed on them. You know, all publicity is good publicity. She sure knows that. Anyway, where was she during the National Equality March?

The cover to emphasize on her her long career, it is a greatest hits compilation anyways (that sold waaay than certain better than new full length albums).
And speaking of retouchers and retouching, coming from a Lamb, that is pretty bold, and every Lamb should know never to bring that subject up! (check out the covers of Mimi, Rainbow, and that disgusting Forever campaign).
Aaaaaaand, Madonna has been VERY vocal throughout her career on gay rights, and politics in general, in interviews, her videos concerts, no other artist has been as vocal as her in those 3 formats together, so now suddenly everybody is doing what she was doing before… and EVERYONE knows Madonna’s firm stand on the gay rights subject, nothing new there.
Don’t be hatin’ because the Cow never had the balls (until very very very recently) to speak for her gay fans, because that might offend a certain majority of her fanbase (like Mary J. Blige and George Michael incident!).
we didn’t say that Mariah doesn’t retouch. We are actually encouraging biceps to retouch. Again: Madonna used the community to further her career. Mariah was a coatcheck girl that made it. There’s a diffy. At any rate, all Madonna’s covers after Music have been not clear or not her at all!
You say used the community, we say she made the community strong, and public in pop world. In the 80′s even gay artists had a hard time coming out, and she flaunted her love-of-everything-gay (remember: George Michael was straight, Elton John was married, and Boy George was “bisexual”), people hated her for it, but she did it anyways.
And Madonna worked hard, no doubt, just like MC did, no doubt. Madonna does retouching on her natural wrinkles, while Mariah does retouches on her face and her BODY!!!
(let’s talk in 10 years and see the kind of retouching that MC will do, that will even make Cher roll-on-the-floor laughing)
lambs are laughing looking at this cover…

ADNAN .. WHY BRING CHER INTO THIS ???
LOVE YOU MADONNA
a coatcheck girl that made it?
BY MARRYING THE LABEL HEAD
and if you wanna talk surgery, your girl needs to stop filling her face with that junk….makes her look even fatter
do your research.. she married mottola after Music Box, her 4th album…
Wow,
Thanks Joe bringing this up! totally forgot…
Indeed she married him after Music Box, but was “on her back, her legs pointing to Jesus and thinking of handbags” since she gave him that demo tape back in 1989 at that party where she met him after being introduced to h im by Brenda K.
you’re both sexist
No, never sexist…
We’re Lambists
Madonna didn’t “use” the gay community. She gave us as good as we got. Gay people have always been an important part of her life and her outlook is undeniably queer. She’s always spoken out on gay issues. The NEM??? Give me a break. Most gay people didn’t even go, not that it wasn’t a good thing to happen. As for lambs, most of them probably didn’t go. All I know is I like Madonna a lot and I get self-described lambs coming to trash her on my blog, and many, many times the comments are not just catty or critical like yours but say Madonna has AIDS, her followers are fags, etc. If you like Mariah a lot, cool, enjoy her—I would not visit anyone’s blog and degrade the things that give them happiness.
you do what you gotta do, still, i think she should do more. Anywho, link exchange?
You are right Matthew…
What did the NEM do except give great publicity to Gaga…
Mariah NEVER did anything to the gays except allowing one to propose to another on her satge (only last week was it!)
