By a stretch! Time for a celebration!
By a stretch! Time for a celebration!
Oh, the dramatic music!
This video has just popped up on YouTube and it’s an unofficial video from a fan for the song “Two Birds” from her album Far. The track is actually quite cute and it should be a single. The video is good for a fan-made effort.
TLC (T-Boz and Chilli) have reunited for a hot minute after a 7-year gap to perform at Justin Timberlake’s concert in Las Vegas. The twosome came out in full force to sing some of their biggest numbers including “No Scrubs,” “Ain’t 2 Proud 2 Beg” and “What About Your Friends?” There are no rumors of a reunion, but the two did it as a favor for Justin Timberlake. The show, benefiting Shriners Hospitals for Children, also featured sets from Alicia Keys, Ciara, Snoop Dogg, Taylor Swift, Jay Sean, and Timbaland.
The new single from Rihanna’s new album as being readied up as we speak. The video is being shot. Rihanna sports a eye-patch in the new video, a la Gabrielle. The title for the single is not out yet although rumors that it features supposed-fling drake as the rapper. All up in the blogs the title has been hailed as The Wait Is Ova. However, it’s such a naff name that there must be some other name. The-Dream and Tricky Stewart who gave Rihanna her biggest hit “Umbrella” are all over this album. Let’s hope it’s fantastical. The album comes out November 23rd.

Katy Perry (or Stereotypia as we like to call her) wants people to know that she is not just a studio artist. So, she is readying up an MTV Unplugged CD/DVD filled with all her hits (five) and some other tracks to show you her acoustic prowess. The live date was filmed and recorded in Australia. Probably no single from it.
The lead-off to Lady GaGa’s repackaging of The Fame has been leaked in full quality and intended mixing so our ears won’t “bleed.” The single is the same RedOne hodgepodge that we are used to from GaGa except with a bad hook and a boring chorus. This seems rushed. We don’t see thing going anywhere but with the buzz she is building, one never knows. Click below to listen to “Bad Romance” in high quality.
It turns out that this is the first single from Alicia Keys’ Elements of Freedom. It’s not that strong, but it will build a buzz. Her first singles, apart from the debt, are really not that solid, but more attention grabbers. We still don’t like “No One.” Anyway, Alicia albums are always a treat and this is just a teaser.
Is she back on the crack? Or is it still whack? She was all over the place with this performance of “Million Dollar Bill.” We’re glad she’s finally back, but can she sing instead of speaking the words. We know she still has it, but does she have it live?
