Beverley Knight’s latest, 100%, has a whole lot of hot beats. This is the second single and it’s be mixed again to include chart-topping rapper Chipmunk. Plus, she is looking the fiercest she’s ever looked in this video. Knight is still carrying on with her brand of brit-soul that is really unsurpassed.
Adam Lambert graces the cover of Details magazine and goes heterosexual. The jury is still out on whether is was for shock value or because Details is a big closeted magazine. But, nonetheless, it’s a nice spread. In other news, his first single “Time For Miracles” has leaked across teh blogosphere and it’s less glam more road-trippy acoustica. We hope he does more poppy songs.
Paloma Faith’s album Do You The Truth Or Something Beautiful? is not exactly making big waves on radio and the charts but Paloma Faith is working the gig circuit and making a name for herself. Her single “New York” is exactly what the doctor prescribed. A sultry track of longing with strong soul roots.
Chasing Wild Horses is a beautiful story of reverence and splendour. Roberto Dutesco, New York City’s top fashion photographer, works with human beauty every day. Raised in Canada, his unique artistic eye has brought him fame and recognition throughout the fashion world. Many years ago, he took a small plane to Sable Island, where he found an exceptional environment that would change his perception of beauty and undeniably impact on his art. The discovery, on this unique island, of wild, long-maned, untamed horses, running through the dunes was an aesthetic experience like no other for Roberto. He became fixated with the natural beauty of the untouched wild horses.
Limited to just 300 copies worldwide, this beautifully presented and individually numbered box set has been crafted by The Vinyl Factory, working in close collaboration with the band themselves. By the way, we are loving Love 2 to bits.
Housed in a luxurious silver mirrored box with the Air logo debossed on the front, this stunning set includes:
Angie Stone is back. Her new album is called Unexpected and the title comes too close to Michelle Williams’ album of the same title. The first single is “I Ain’t Hearin’ You” and it should be on radio sometime soon. The album is slated for a February 2010 release and we recommend that she change that horrid album cover with all the time she has.
She worked until three on the collection, that must’ve been tough.
