Paloma Faith’s album Do You The Truth Or Something Beautiful? is not exactly making big waves on radio and the charts but Paloma Faith is working the gig circuit and making a name for herself. Her single “New York” is exactly what the doctor prescribed. A sultry track of longing with strong soul roots.

The radio stations are afraid to give her air time, and if they do they shy away from upside down, tales of ordinary madness, sexy bitch (chick), blues #’s, It’s Christmas and I hate you” etc. (the really good stuff) and go with the more mainline stone cold sober. Despite the fact that people like Jools etc are backing her to the hilt, and all her albums and shows have sold out.
Going for the ordinary routine will only make you mediocre, (and very very slow on the uptake) gormless radio executives.
