Shakira’s English version of the album She Wolf has hit the blogosphere hard. It has leaked in full retail high quality. It’s her take on a more electronic sound.

Robbie Williams graces the cover of GQ
1The promo campaign for Reality Killed The Video Star is underway and Robbie Williams is looking as fresh as ever. “Bodies” will be all over the place real soon and the album is bound to make it big, because even if many think that the previous album, Rudebox, didn’t do well, it kept the fans happy and nothing solves a flop like a hiatus, ask Whitney!

Documentary: The September Issue
This documentary has turned heads a-many while it was being done and during its promo. It seemed to pique the world’s interest as the revelatory bio-doc on Anna Wintour – the most notorious figure in the fashion world. This was also heightened by the fact that The Devil Wears Prada was sold as an inside-look at Anna Wintour wicked ways.
But, once the documentary starts you realize that it is not the sensationalist bring-the-dirt kind of documentary. In fact, it is a kind of tepid look at the making of the fashion industry’s bible and the title of this documentary. Anna Wintour actually comes out as a loving mother and sister with minimal drama. Even Andrea Leon Talley appears to be more talk, less glamour. This was probably commissioned to counter-attack the mainstream image of Anna Wintour. It’s kind of boring, actually, and we came out of it thinking that the people in charge of fashion and aesthetic beauty in this world are, in fact, themselves quite ugly.

The MIXA replaces the mixtape…
Someone over at MakeAMIXA had a great idea. They came up with this tape USB that you can customize and send as a gift. You pick the tape color, what goes on the sticker and then buy the 1 gb hard-drive and send it to your beloveds. It’s that simple. Go over here to see how it’s made.

Cross-legged chairs…
6Russian designers from the Tsesler & Voichenko studio have come up with this concept idea for chairs. It’s a chair that has crossed it’s legs. Not only are they a novel idea, but they add a demure nonchalance to the feng shui of the room. Check out their website here.
Whitney Houston does “Million Dollar Bill” for French TV
She doing all the big market capitals in Europe. First Germany, now France. She is leaving out the UK until last because the album will be released there much later even though the import section at record stores is practically all I Look To You copies. This single is a grower and her vocals (on it) are up to par.
