Madonna to be the face of Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring 2010 collection
1Video: “Boat Behind” by Kings Of Convenience
Get a pretty little song like “Boat Behind” and attach it to a lovely summer-quaintness video and you’ve got yourself a hit. This is the second single from Declaration Of Dependence and it’s lyrics portray that in their relationship. The album is a beautiful collection of breezy songs.
A Visionary Visual: Profiles in Perpetuity
1South Park do Lady GaGa’s “Poker Face”
2Official cover for Alicia Keys’ “The Element Of Freedom” is here!
6It’s finally here and it looks spectacular. After four toned-down covers (including the unplugged one) she has opted for a little bit of glamor. The Element Of Freedom is set to be Alicia Keys’ fourth full-length album. It has been pushed back a little but that is only to make room for the stellar single “Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart” to shine. The first single wasn’t to our amusement, but we are sure that we will find gems once we download.
Taylor Swift makes fun of Shakira

The Natalie Merchant bit is spot-on.
Bebe Zahara Benet’s first single will be out Monday
1RuPaul’s Drag Race winner, Bebe Zahara Benet, will be debuting her first single on Monday in iTunes. This will come along with 10 fabulous remixes of the single titled “I’m The Shit.” The video has already been filmed and is about to surface anytime soon. Click here to see the making of the video.
Shakira sings “Gypsy” live!
2“Gypsy” is by far our favorite song on She Wolf. We can’t stop listening to it. She always makes great use of instruments that usually fit on pop templates. The album crosses the world over with its genres. If the record company has any sense, they would release this song as a single.
Rihanna to launch her own perfume
2
Everybody is doing it, so why shouldn’t Rihanna. The market must be full of these products, but, somehow, there is demand out there. She said she want to create a fragrance that “no man can resist” and insists she has. She is in te middle of promoting her album Rated R so expect this to come after. The scent should be here sometime early 2010. Meanwhile, that frock is fantastical!
Premiere: Video: “Every Now And Then” by The Noisettes
One of the best bands of 2009, The Noisette, have released yet another single from their flawless album. “Every Now And Then” is a dramatic mid-tempo number that is all about love’s nostalgia. It’s set for a November 16th release. Their second album Wild Young Hearts packs a punch when it comes to singles.
Water-proof bags for laptops…
2This came 8 months too late as you must’ve heard about our Berlin champagne incident. But, nonetheless, it’s finally here. Water and scratch-proof bags for laptops. Get them here.
Video: “A Woman’s Gonna Try” by Sabrina Starke
1We introduced Sabrina Starke back in April and she’s had a lot happen to her since then. She had a hit album and a string of hit singles including this one. She changed her album cover for the better and managed to conjure up quite a following in her home of the Netherlands. Her album is out now and it’s called Yellow Brick Road (no relation to the Elton John classic). She is a talent to watch!
Seal to release “Hits” album
5Being aware of his current dip in sales and the fact that his name only comes up when mentioning Heidi Klum, seal is attempting to revive his career by showing us just how many hits he has. It’s a greatest hits collection titled (surprise!) Seal Hits. The sleeve is not that enthralling and the package seems like another money-making gimmick. At any rate, it’ll be here soon.
Rihanna visits Alexa Chung
Rihanna paid a visit to Alexa Chung for a performance and another interview talking candidly and frankly. Chris Brown wants her to shut up, which is not going to happen but just goes to show that he is not over his misogyny and chauvinistic ways.
Haiku Review: “Echo” by Leona Lewis
Kate Nash covers Gwen Stefani’s “Hollaback Girl”
She really turned a horrid song into a nice little folk song.
Jennifer Lopez has a sex tape!
Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband Ojani Noa has said that he is making a film about his life with the starlet. However, what we didn’t know is that it’s a documentary made up of home videos. Reportedly, he has hours of home videos that he was planning to put together some of them include videos of Jennifer Lopez in, allegedly, compromising sexual positions. Lopez’s lawyers got a court order to stop him from making this videos public, but he plans to fight this until the end. Click here for the full story.
LaToya Jackson deleted scene from Bruno
1We have to see that she was super nice and we are surprised she stayed for that long. Paula Abdul just up and went. The scene was deleted because the movie premiered right after Michael Jackson’s death.
