Leave Lamees Alone is a response campaign to this incident, which is causing quite a stir in the UAE. The t-shirts, designed by Mohammed Sultan Al-Habtoor for house of glaMO, have been all the rage on the UAE main street. It’s a lighter and more humorous response to what some claim to be an interview that was not representative of Emaratis in general. The t-shirts are a kitschy take on cultural episode and the reply it has generated. Right now, in Dubai, if you don’t have one of these, you are basically a nobody. 1This was not we expected, but there are only so many thing you can do with such an epic drama-ballad. It’s slow an sentimental, so the concert type video would have done. But, this whole baseball stadium business is unnecessary. And the images of random people could have been diversified. We see the two gay boys from Oprah giving each other a look or two to make it kosher for TV. And the slo-mo does wonders, but not the dress. At any rate, the vocals are everything in this song and she brought it.
