You can’t say had when the QUEEN OF POP releases her best selling single of all time just 4 years ago (Hung Up), and still manages to be the best selling artist of all time and concert performer.
Had is associated when you release the best album of your career in 1998 and never ever ever ever manage to come even close to it’s quality of production and vocals, lyrics and even the type font of the album (Butterfly).

Precious is an AMAZING movie not because of Mariah, but because of Mo’nique surprisingly unbelievable acting skill for this role, and Sidibe. Anyone could have played Mariah’s role, but yes, it’s better than any role she played.
