Tina Dico to release “The Road To Gävle” soon

Tina Dico is going to release her fourth disc this year on November 30th. It’s a collection of songs that she put together for a Danish indie flick titled Oldboys that somehow evolved into a 13-track album. Tina Dico has become a very prolific artist with an array of folk songs. The Road To Gävle is a project that is set to bring in the sombre with the deep, in fashion with all of Dico’s releases.

Jennifer Lopez falls on her ass at the American Music Awards

The fall is at 2:43 secs. She fell hard and then managed to get up and do what Beyonce did – exaggerate the next move. She fell just like this song falls hard on its face to make an impression. Being a lamb and a J.Lo hater aside, she really has gone and done some bullshit music and expects this to bring her back. Bad song, bad performance and horrid voice. What a shame!

Janet Jackson’s performance on the American Music Awards

Ok, so it was a little less than 8 minutes. But, she tried her best with the time she has even if her wardrobe is really boring. A malfunction would have shaken things up. But, she crammed some hits along with the new single “Make Me,” which sounds lackluster in between all the greats. How sad is it that Jermaine Jackson doesn’t even know the lyrics to one of his sisters biggest hits “Together Again.” She rocked it, but she could’ve rocked it better.

Official cover for Charlotte Gainsbourg’s “IRM”

Charlotte Gainsbourg is readying up her third (second as an adult) album IRM, which will be a total turn in direction from her collaboration with Air on 5:55. It’s rockier and bit more experimental. She works with Beck on this one. The first two singles weren’t that lush, but maybe the slower numbers will have something to watch out for.

Premiere: Video: “Morning After Dark” by Timbaland featuring SoShy

Timbaland’s back at it. The video version only features SoShy because Nelly Furtado’s vocals were recorded after. We can imagine her vocals sounding so ill on this. But the opening statement: “Italy is so amazing, mom” is so American it makes us want to barf. Some American think that Italy is the only travel destination in the eastern hemisphere. Like, Rome and stuff.
