After 8 years of being with her husband Keri Lewis of Mint Condition, Toni Braxton might be heading to the divorce courts. The split has been announced today. The couple have two children together. Let’s hope that this incident doesn’t bring in some more album delays, because it has been way too long.

Big-mouth Bostonian rockstar Steven Tyler (father of Liv) has unexpectedly quit his band Aerosmith. The band, which is credited to be one of the longest living bands still together, have reportedly not heard from Steven in a while and he refused to get in touch with them. No word yet on if its a hiatus of an indefinite split.

News just in!! Lady GaGa has recently announced on Wetten Dass, a famous TV show is Germany, that she will NOT release The Fame Monster, the deluxe version with 8 new tracks this month. Instead she is postponing the date until early 2010 and releasing a whole new album, which might or might not include these tracks. It will probably include “Bad Romance,” just because it’s already a single. There are also rumors that the album might be out as an 8-track offering with the songs on it. Too little information! Mariah Carey’s remix album, which was probably the album that Mariah wanted to release had it not been for LA Reid’s nitpicking, has a track list and it’s out. The album contains R&B remixes of the tracks, some of which are better than the originals. And a few new tracks. Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel might get the lift it deserves after this is released. MIA working on third album with Diplo, Switch

M.I.A. is working on her album despite being busy with Christina Aguilera’s. The rapper is working with Diplo and Switch mainly, but also has other producers. Diplo has already done 2 tracks with her. The album’s set to be her third after Arular and Kala. Everything she touches turns into gold, so we are not doubting the result. Diplo says that the songs are a cross between Animal Collective and Gucci Mane, which is very interesting if anything.
