Michael Jackson’s famous silver studded glove that he wore in 1983 when he debuted his moonwalk has fetched over a third of a million dollars. The glove sold for more than 9 times what it was expected to sell. The glove Jackson wore on his left hand for his moonwalk on Motown’s 25th anniversary TV special was the top item among the memorabilia auctioned at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square. Other things that sold is his fedora hat from the “Smooth Criminal” days.
Premiere: Video: “So Yesterday” by Toni Braxton featuring Trey Songz
2The original song was signature Toni Braxton. Big vocals, slow beats and sexy undertones. But, in a bid to pump up the hype post-Vegas gig and pre-comeback, the record label attempted to gloss it over with a mid-tempo beat and a guest appearance by R&B hotshot Trey Songz. Well, they thought wrong. Now the song has been watered down too much.
Travel: Dubai, UAE
5As you might have noticed, we have been a little slow on posting. But, that is not to remain. We are currently in Dubai enjoying the lush warm breeze with our best friend and others. We will get back to regular posting hours shortly. We hope this hasn’t become a drag. Still, we are maintaining record numbers. Thank you for you support, sexies.
Premiere: Video: “Make Me” by Janet Jackson
1We didn’t think this was strong enough to be a single, but she needs to shift some copies of her new greatest hits compilation Number Ones. The video is all kinds of hotness incorporating everything Janet is known for: great choreography, nice visual, high fashion and that smile. It kind of reminds us of “Scream” with a much lower budget.

Billboard to introduce folk charts
Billboard has finally gotten over some of its archaic charting methods (Catalogue albums, anyone?) and is going to include a 15 spot chart for fold music beginning 2010. This will cater to artists like Ani DiFranco, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez and their fans. This also comes with the revamping of the Billboard 200. It’s still confusing, but better.

Paloma Faith continues to impress…
We wrote a piece on the lovely Paloma Faith over at our friends’ place SQUA.RE. It’s a piece that is unlike the writing we usually do here, but reminded us of our days as features editor. Click here to read it and comment.
