Billboard has announced that the most popular song of the decade is Mariah Carey’s “We Belong Together.” The song stayed at #1 for 14 consecutive weeks and at a certain point Mariah also had the #2 spot with “Shake It Off.” The single was the second from The Emancipation Of Mimi and is responsible for her comeback. The song went double platinum and hold second place for consecutive weeks at the top spot only to Mariah Carey’s duet with Boyz II Men “One Sweet Day.”
