Uffie is officially back…

1

It’s hard to believe that we fell in love with Uffie back in 2005 with her song “Pop The Glock,” which only got the video treatment recently. Now, after a long while and a Pharrell-produced single, Uffie is ready to launch herself in the forefront of hipster pop. Recently, Frankmusik criticized Ke$ha for stealing Uffie’s style. They do sound very similar. Anyway, click below to hear her new track.

Payback: Buju Banton arrested for cocaine possession

1

So, now that it turns out he is a big coke-head, his disgruntled and probably under-educated fans are blaming the LGBT community. Why? Because he likes the angel dust and wasn’t smart enough to hide it from the authorities because he was probably as high as a kite at the time. This is what he said: “This is a fight, and as I said in one of my songs, ‘there is no end to the war between me and faggot’ and it’s clear.” Even after signing a pact not to be hateful.

So, don’t go crying because your bottom got arrested for drug charges that have nothing to do with other people. You hate, your get hated. Simple and clear. So now boom boom bye to him.

The wine glass tank…

1

What a novel idea for an age-old problem. Fill your glass only once and throw away the decanter. Here’s what the had to say about it: “it is a glass for drinking a lot. a device consists of a bulb shaped container with the glass below. when the amount in the glass decreases, a constant amount is poured from the tank into the glass. never overflowing from the glass because of air pressure and water pressure.” Click here.

Tori Amos explains seasonal album

When we first heard of Midwinter Graces we were dumbfounded. We couldn’t believe that the mother of theist-bashing is actually recording a Christmas album. We thought it was a gesture to her daughter to guests on the album. The album did not have the standard run-around-the-christmas-tree songs. It was packed with lovely ditties that we had never heard. This turns out to be, in the interview, in purpose. As we thought this was not a praise-Jesus kind of effort. It’s actually a collection of seasonal Pagan drinking songs. That’s a relief! She does them in her own manner and greatly, might we add. Also, she is not doing any religious bashing on this one. That’s another t-shirt.

Film Review: Tom Ford’s “A Single Man”

3

Tom Ford’s A Single Man is a must-watch! The movie is based on a novel written by Christopher Isherwood, a queen of an author. It is set in Los Angeles during the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962. The story line is about a British professor who is struggling to find a purpose in life after the death of his long beloved partner.

A Single Man exemplifies how society views minorities, and in that we mean the gay community. It touches upon peoples’ fears of growing old and being lonely. The screenplay is written by the well-known fashionista, Tom Ford with David Scearce. The simple story line, plot, and actors fit perfectly to the giveaway message. It turns out the fashionista is a magnificent multi-tasker! It has been a while since we have seen a movie that is worthwhile. Without a doubt, this movie is fruitful.

ABBA inducted into Rock And Roll Hall of Fame

1

Legendary Swedish pop band ABBA has been named as one of the acts to be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 2010. They will be given the title along with Iggy Pop’s Stooges and Genesis, a band that gave birth to Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins. Not bad for a band that was once critiqued to be too bubblegum euro-poppy and now stands as a pillar in the history of modern music. We love pop.

Alicia Keys performs “Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart” on David Lettermen

Yes, 12-time Grammy winner and too bad she didn’t release The Element of Freedom in time for the Grammy cut-off. But, 2010 will be festive for her. She has a strict work ethic and she will probably keep the singles coming well into next summer. The next will probably be her duet with Beyonce “Put It In A Love Song,” which is one of her worst songs but will probably get a bunch of attention because of the star power.

Rihanna racy and nude-ish for GQ

It seems that the cover is not the only racy thing in Rihanna’s GQ spread. She has pictures inside of basically all  the skin except the mammary papilla. Here are the raunchiest ones. It’s time for Playboy, don’t you think? She surely is Rated R. We are more NC-17 people, but hey!

Glasses and pearls…

1

“For the nice girls who want to be naughty, and the naughty girls who want to be nice… not that you’re fooling anyone. This time the love/hate comes to you with a pearl chain… the pearl may be faux, but you best believe the effect is real. Encrusted in 600 hand applied swarovski crystals. like you expect anything else. Pearl findings on gold eyewear are gold, and pearl findings on black and silver eyewear are silver. Because we’re good to you like that.” Click here.

Rage Against The Machine to beat Joe McElderry for Christmas top spot

2

The early numbers are in and, maybe, for the first time since the inception of X-Factor UK the winner will not get a number one for Christmas. According to early digital sales of the single Joe McElderry’s “The Climb” is trailing 10% in sales behind Rage Against The Machine’s “Killing In The Name”. This will surely be a dent into the X- Factor world and will probably teach Simon Cowell not to choose a Miley Cyrus song for a cover. We hope it happens, but it’s highly unlikely as teh physical single is not out yet and that’s what grandmas and little kids buy. So there might be a skew and unfortunately RATM might not win. You see, this makes the Christmas number 1 exciting again, instead of just a dead cert.
