Dangerous Muse are back with a stellar single that takes away their one-hit-wonder status. “I Want It All” is a really robust dance song that can carry them from Logo to MTV. They’re so easy on the eyes.

Mariah Carey working with Nicki Minaj, Ne-Yo
Mariah is bringing out all the star for this double remix album of hers that is supposed to surface sometime this February. First there where the rumors of her working with Beyonce on the track “It’s A Wrap.” Now, we hear that she is already readying up a new single that will be a remix version of the lovely “Angels Cry” with radio darling Ne-Yo. The last piece of new to come about the slew of guest appearances cites Nicki Minaj (known for nothing but being fierce) as a guest rapper on “Up Out My Face.”

Kylie Minogue’s “Live In New York” is out!
Premiere: Video: “The Climb” by Joe McElderry
Ah, the Miley Cyrus gets a mom remix. And the video of his “uphill battle” to becoming the next holder of the Christmas album only to fizzle out into oblivion after a couple of album once simon Cowell finds another cash cow. The song’s really a bad choice. We can’t believe this, but Miley would sound better if we had heard her version of the song. Seriously, if we won X-Factor we would refuse to cover this song!

Alicia Keys duets with Stephen Colbert
Alicia Keys was on The Colbert Report Tuesday December 15th to promote her new album The Element Of Freedom, which features collaborations with Beyonce and Drake. Plus, part two of her and Jay-Z’s hit song “Empire State Of Mind.” She sat down for an interview and performed “Empire State Of Mind (Part II) Broken Down” with some help from Stephen Colbert himself!
Jessica Simpson was with Tiger Woods?
Rumors are afloat that pop starlet Jessica Simpson had something to do with Tiger Woods. Allegedly, Tiger Woods came onto her and then she responed or something or anything to sell magazines. We haven’t really reported on Tiger Woods. First, because he really doesnt factor into our lives at all. Second, because we don’t like golf. And third, marriage is a social institutionalization that puts barriers where there aren’t any. At any rate, this is the word on the blogosphere. Thanks to PopBytes for the cover. Oh, and Jessica denied all reports.
Video: “Caesar” by I Blame Coco featuring Robyn
1This is supposed to be an “Introducing…” post but, we had to put Robyn in the headlines as we miss her badly. I Blame Coco is one of the bands touted to take over 2010 like Florence did 2009. Coco is the daughter of Sting and Trudie Styler. She has signed to Island Records and this is her debut video. Coco recorded the album in Sweden and there’s a bunch of Swedish influence on it. First, there’s the one and only Robyn on this track giving it a facelift. Also, Swedish band Miike Snow is rumored to make an appearance of her album. This song is promising, but a bit too post-riot grrl for us. Maybe the album has more in store for us.
First look at Madonna’s campaign for Dolce & Gabbana 2010
Madonna might have lost the Louis Vuitton campaign, but she has worked out a deal with Dolce & Gabbana. Here are the first pictures to surface out of the collection of sessions that Madonna had done for the fashion house. We don’t know what the deal is here. Is she trying to be an Italian housewife or a damsel in domestic distress. At any rate, she always had a knack for fashion so we are not going to hate on her now.
Must-Watch: Lady GaGa performs for the queen
1This is just plain wow. It shows why Lady GaGa is in world all her own. It’s seems like Lady GaGa was ripe before she got a record deal and came to bestow the fruits of her music and image at the right time. Basically, there’s no one like her. She has a lot ahead of her. Let’s hope for a 2010 album. Who would think of dragging in some Salvador Dali into stage like that. Also, “Speechless” is one of her best tracks.
Alicia Keys on the cover of Jet magazine
Premiere: Video: “Yesterday” by Toni Braxton
This version sans Trey Songz is much better than they one that came out a while ago. There’s something about Toni Braxton sitting on a piano belting one out, very reminiscent of the good old “You Mean The World To Me” days. There have been many leaks lately, but let’s hope they are extra tracks.
