Goldfrapp is working hard at the studio to produce her latest and, some mights say, greatest. In March we will be introduced to another rough of electropop that is less Seventh Tree and more Supernature. According to her record label, the album will be a “speedy rush of synth optimism, euphoria, fantasy and romance.” We can’t wait for it as Goldfrapp was the only shock of music glam we had pre-GaGa. Kylie Minogue is about to unleach another live album on us and we are loving it. Kylie is releasing her performance in New York’s sold-out shows on disc for everyone. This might seem irrelevant to some, but, with Kylie, live recordings are always a treat and a half. Her reinterpretations of songs is both impeccable and unexpected. Hands down, the worst song ever. The DJ last night stopped it mid song when the dancefloor emptied. It’s really bad. It’s too repetitious and she’s just plane annoying. Way to go J.Lo, to have a flop even before an album is released.
