Goldfrapp hides under pseudonym Sylvie Nylon

1

Goldfrapp’s truimphant return is here and she is pulling all the stops to promote it. The singer is putting out some tracks under the name Sylvie Nylon to test out the waters. On last.fm’s website that name is listed with three tracks that should be on Head First. The tracks are “Rocket,” “Dreaming,” “Alive” and “Believer.” Test them out yourself here.

Nelly Furtado will release English album this May!

It has been revealed that Nelly Furtado is releasing a new English album after her release on the Spanish Mi Plan. The track list is set to allegedly include songs that have been translated and some songs that are new. No word yet on the name or the tracks. Let’s hope she does something deep and not just collaborations with Timbaland.

Update: this may not be accurate as it is just a rumor.

Ke$ha performs “Tik Tok” on The Ellen Show

We totally did not need to see that. The song was #1 on our chart for the start of this year, but this performance just killed it. The song is still great in studio version, but this looks like the work of a little messy kid. She sounds like she is doing some lousy karaoke. She could be friends with Miley Cyrus.

Barbie goes Lady GaGa

A barbie doll aficionado from Beijing has been giving the Mattel girl some GaGa treatment. Dressing the doll with Lady GaGa’s most memorable outfits.

Lady GaGa does “Speechless” live

The hair bow is getting bigger and bigger. We have to admit that we are not huge fans of this song, but if there’s any track of Lady GaGa’s that shows her melodic prowess it’s this one. As a dear friend once stated that it would do her and us some good if she were to release an acoustic version of her albums because they sound very good when stripped down. YouTube them, they’ll leave you speechless.

Alcohol without the hangover!

1

2010 looks like it’s going to be a good year with every day that passes. Yes, you can have your cake and eat it, too. Or in this case, keg. Click here to read more.
