Kylie Minogue already has 8 tracks for new album!

Kylie Minogue has apparently already recorded 8 tracks for her 11th full-length studio album. Yes, The album’s pretty much recorded. Stuart Price has explained that the album has some way to go, but should be ready by the end of 2010. The album is going to be straight up dance and pop. Furthermore, N-Dubz has submitted some tracks but it is not yet known if they will be included on the album track listing.

Tori Amos is back to making music, even if she released two full-length albums in 2009 – Abnormally Attracted To Sin and Midwinter Graces. Now, she is still writing but for a new and different project that she calls one of the hardest things she’s had to do. She is doing a full-fledged musical to debut sometime 2011. Yes, one of our all-time favorites is making a musical and we can’t wait to go to the theater for it. Let’s hope she will have a starring spot, although it’s doubtful. Oh, and the wig’s no longer on. M.I.A. goes on a tirade against New York Times

M.I.A. has gone out on the attack on Twitter against the New York Times to make Sri Lanka the #1 destination to visit in 2010. The New York Times releases it’s annual article on tourism for 2010 and listed Sri Lanka on the top spot. M.I.A. went on a tirade criticizing this decision and posting graphic pictures of death and torture of Tamil civilians. Click below to read the Twitter rant. We previously agreed with the Sri Lanka choice on the blog, because we remember how lovely it was, but we can understand where she is coming from. An oppressive government should not get tourist dollars without the consideration of it’s humanitarian atrocities.
