One of our favorite ambient-pop bands is ready to release a new album. In a bid to promote it Husky Rescue have offered a guilt-free download of one of the tracks. The song is called “We Shall Burn Bright” and it’s a slight departure from their previous efforts but is equally as scrumptious. More news on the album coming up.

3Must-Watch: Lady GaGa’s performance on The Oprah Winfrey Show
2We can’t believe we got our cyberhands on this video. This is Lady GaGa’s highly-touted appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show. She is looking as fierce as usual, the head piece is new and the ball and chain confirms her direction towards a more S&M look. She took over the world and this is just the cherry on top. Now, let’s hope this catapults “Bad Romance” onto the top spot on the Billboard charts so she doesn’t lose her winning streak, although we don’t want to break Mariah’s record, we figured Mariah broke enough records.
Official cover for Sugababes’ single “Wear My Kiss”
Nothing special here. Still haven’t gotten used to the 3.0 line-up as it contains everything mundane and generic about the Sugababes, a band that started with experimental pop and is currently doing producer hand-me-downs. This song is better than some of the rest we’ve been hearing recently. “Get Sexy: was monumental, but Keisha was there. The video for this track is what will give it the right push. Sweet 7 feels like a make-or-break album.

Duffy working on a new album
1We have to admit that out of the entire British pop female explosion that follow after Amy Winehouse’s ubiquitous Back To Black, Duffy is our least favorite (not taking Lady Sovereign into consideration of course). That is due to the fact that her album didn’t really stick with is and it felt redundant after several other releases at that time. “Mercy” is exceptional, though. At any rate, Duffy’s in New York now conjuring up the new disc after Rockferry which sold approximately a million copies. She enlisted Albert Hammond Senior, who is the father of The Strokes’ Albert Hammond Junior, and hip hop drummer ?uestlove. The album’s set to come out later this year.
