Is Johnny Depp dead?

6

Update: Ok, not sure yet but people are saying that allegedly he is in France and his car has been completely totalled and nobody is sure is he is dead, but this rumor came on a little stronger than other death rumors. There was no trace of it as of minutes ago and fake celebrity fake deaths usually take time to evolved. It’s already the #2 trending topic on twitter.

Toni Braxton album “Pulse” pushed back, again!

1

This has got to be the day of push-backs. After we learned that Erykah Badu is still on her haitus, this comes in. Toni Braxton’s six full-length album Pulse has been pushed back from an early 2010 release to May. This sucks for all fans and people who have been waiting. But, frankly there have been enough Braxton leaked tracks recently to fill up an album or two. This push back is probably due to the fact that her single “Yesterday” didn’t do so well and another single is in the works. Let’s hope it gets out this year.

Ke$ha talks mullets and boys with Ryan Seacrest

By now, we are frankly sick and tired that we have to put a dollar sign every time we want to write about it. We still think she is trying to be grungey and reckless, but she just looks like she has crabs. Don’t you think? Also, look at her expression when the caller mispronounces her name.

The males stars of “Friends” today…

We really haven’t paid much attention to Friends since High School. We fell out of it once it got a little redundant and as we grew older the humor felt forced. In fact, since Will & Grace, we haven’t found American humor funny at all. At any rate, this picture is circulating in e-mail forward format of the former male actors of the show and how they’ve grown. Wow, Matt LeBlanc really jumped the shark fast.

Legendary: “Sweetness” by Michelle Gayle

It is rare that an original song from a British soul artist makes such an impact. Not because there is a lack of talent there, it’s because R&B rarely gets a break there especially if it’s from the UK. This track is one of the forgotten great breezy pop songs. It was the standout song from her eponymous debut album Michelle Gayle. It charted at #4 on the UK Singles Chart and is still her highest achievement (when it comes to pop music).

Erykah Badu pushes back her album “The Ankh,” again!

3

Erykah Badu’s new album has been pushed back many times. New Amerykah Part Two (Return of the Ankh) was slated for a 2009 release, then they said it will be out this February (unless it leaks then Badu will not release it at all) and now it’s scheduled to be out on march 30th, 2010. Yes, it got pushed back a whole month. This is probably a move by the record company to make room for a single in time for the album to build some buzz. Erykah’s loyal fan base will probably catapult the album to number one, but a little promotion won’t hurt. Let’s hope it see the light of day. Click below for the tracklisting.

Premiere: Video: “One Dream” by Sarah McLachlan

2010 is going to be Sarah McLachlan’s year. Not only does she have a new album ready (which this single is a cut off of), but she is also about to relaunch her monumental Lilith Fair tour. “One Dream” is a contending theme song for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. It’s your run-of-the-mill Sarah number. But, hey, if it ain’t broke why fix it? The album is yet to be titled and is probably slated for a summer release.
