This show is called See To Believe: Freaky Foods, bute we don’t think there’s anything freaky about any of those. We’ve had goat’s head, rabbit lapine and frog legs before an we thought they were hella tasty. In fact, we want to try all the food in that clip especially the guinea pig, crocodile dumplings and goose feet. Yum.
Is Taylor Launter Dead?
There’s a big rumor around the blogosphere and Twitter that New Moon star and general hearth-throb is dead. This is very common in the land of teeny bopper celebrities and is usually started by jealous boyfriends, because if it was true it would probably be on CNN now. Simmer down, he’s OK. (Someone forced us to post this post).
Premiere: Video: “Soldier Of Love” by Sade
The video’s finally here for Sade’s new single from her muchly awaited new slice of smooth Soldier Of Love. She’s keeping with the same style as nothing changed, because Sade does almost timeless pop music and it’s been working since the inception of the band (Yes, Sade’s a band!).
Live in a blob…
2The blob is a Mobile Living Space that has a bathroom, mini-kitchen and room for a bed, it can also be converted into an office or a porch. It looks like an egg that had automatically opening ends. It was besigned by Belgian architecture company dmvA.
Premiere: Video: “Never Ever” by Little Dragon
Little Dragon’s album Machine Dreams has bunch of solid numbers. This one included. Although the video’s a bit “When Doves Cry”-esque, the song holds it up well.
Corinne Bailey Rae on the cover of Billboard Magazine
Premiere: Video: “On A Mission” by Gabriella Cilmi
1Just when we announced the return, the video for the first single is out. You can see how’s it’s a departure from the sound that launched her and a new direction in her visual sphere. It sounds like something Girls Aloud would do. We have to say she is looking good.
Dannii Minogue is allegedly pregnant!

Beirut no longer hot spot, Hello Damascus!
7Last year The New York Times named Beirut the #1 place to go to in 2009. This year, the list is out and there is not trace of Beirut. It was replaced by Sri Lanka at the top spot (which we fully agree with as we visited Weligama, Kandy, Colombo and Taprobane Island and absolutely adored it). But, interestingly enough, Damascus, also a place of untapped touristic gold, has sprung up at #7. The article explains: “The next Marrakesh? Perhaps mindful of the way that renovations of historic riads have drawn upscale travelers to Marrakesh, Damascus hoteliers are trying to mine tourism gold in the rundown buildings of the Syrian capital’s Old City.”
Also, the most compelling entry at #9 is Antarctica. Now, that’d be fun. Let’s go!
Melody Gardot performs live
1Oh, the sweet succulent melodies of Melody. Gardot is set for a Grammy win (if they had any taste) and hopefully she will get the success she deserves. Pure loveliness.

5The Yas Hotel in Abu Dhabi
1In the world of architecture, everyone knows the UAE has everything big and mighty. Structures from a ski resort in the desert to the tallest building in the world. But, sometimes the important details are left out. For example, the entire city of Dubai does not have a single modern hotel. So, this hotel in Abu Dhabi comes as a break from the norm. It’s designed by New York-based company Asymptote. The hotel bridges the car racing track. It launched in November and is open now. Click here to book.
