Gimme more.
Gimme more.
We were rummaging through Twitter only to find a little icon of one of the greatest songwriters to grace the pop earth, George Michael has a n account and no one knows about it. Well, 11,000 know about it, but these are not George Michael numbers. Probably because he is not whoring his account out like Tila Tequila or forever tweeting loud and pretentious stuff like Diddy. But, in either case he is bigger than both. Combined. So, go over there and follow a legend.
This is one of my favorite songs of all time. It has the power to make our tear ducts operate immediately. Bic Runga come onto the scene here album Drive, but this was the real reason she achieved international acknowledgment. She still has a healthy career in her home on New Zealand and we managed to get all her album a couple of years ago and absolutely fell in love with all of them. She hasn’t done anything in a while as she is concentrating on family life, but we miss her dearly and hope she makes a fast return in 2010. This is dedicated to you, you know who you are.
Melody Gardot up on the cane and on top of our list of best album of 2009, is ready to take over the world. Her second album My One And Only Thrill has been spinning around radio stations and she has a couple of Grammy nominations under her belt. So, naturally, it’s time to deluxe that album. The monumental CD will come with 5 new songs. Three of which are different versions of other tracks and two are titled “Love Me Like A River Does” and “Ain’t No Sunshine.” We wonder if the latter is a Bill Withers cover and we hope because it fits perfectly with the theme of the disc.
Not sure what to make of this, but we all know Mariah likes her champagne!
Oh, the religious crazies are always great for a good laugh. They seem to like singing a song written by the person they condemn. As the case with all these lunatics, this wouldn’t be an issue had it been a man.

How convenient!
That’s cool, but please never sing live.
Goldfrapp’s truimphant return is here and she is pulling all the stops to promote it. The singer is putting out some tracks under the name Sylvie Nylon to test out the waters. On last.fm’s website that name is listed with three tracks that should be on Head First. The tracks are “Rocket,” “Dreaming,” “Alive” and “Believer.” Test them out yourself here.
It actually works because we did it and found out that J.Lo’s next album is pure shit.
It has been revealed that Nelly Furtado is releasing a new English album after her release on the Spanish Mi Plan. The track list is set to allegedly include songs that have been translated and some songs that are new. No word yet on the name or the tracks. Let’s hope she does something deep and not just collaborations with Timbaland.
Update: this may not be accurate as it is just a rumor.
We totally did not need to see that. The song was #1 on our chart for the start of this year, but this performance just killed it. The song is still great in studio version, but this looks like the work of a little messy kid. She sounds like she is doing some lousy karaoke. She could be friends with Miley Cyrus.

This was not expected to be the single as it was heavily rumored to be the delicious “DJ.” But, this track is not that bad, it sounds like a 90s’ dance track, but we can’t put our finger on which one. Any suggestions?
