Before Precious there was Tennessee, Mariah Carey’s other acclaimed acting performance. It didn’t get enough publicity, but it gave her the path to Precious, to be figurative. She not looking too special in this one either. The cornrows don’t fit her big head. Ok, I jest. She terrific. We haven’t seen the movie yet but you know once we do we will review the hell out of it.

Jill Scott’s working hard on becoming a full-fledged actress. The soulstress had a great role in Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married? and then went on to do her own mini-series playing a Batswana in the BBC/HBO series The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency. Now, she is trying to cram in this last role before the release of the fourth installation of her music albums Words And Sounds titled The Light Of The Sun. We love Jill.

Sade’s eagerly-awaited long-time-coming new album Soldier Of Love has made the internet leak weeks before it was supposed to be released. That must not be good for the record company. 1This is the second installation of the double-A side combo. The two tracks are supposed to satisfy both markets – Hip Hop and Adult Contemporary. We wish Mariah had put more effort into this video. It’s looks like a merging of “One Sweet Day” with “Through The Rain.” It’s just not happening at all even if we are hardcore lambs. Angels Advocate better have some surprises in store.
Christina Aguilera’s new album “Bionic” pushed back again!

Seriously, her PR firm needs to work on this. Don’t give us a date for Bionic and then keep pushing it back. Now it’s slated for an April release with the single “Glam” coming out next month. It’s just unfortunate how record companies don’t have a sense of commitment to the fans. Another push back and we will boycott it.
