Groove Armada collaborate with Will Young

2

Can we just tell you how much we love it when Will Young goes into falsetto all of a sudden. This is what is happening on this sexilicious track. Yet another scrumptious effort from the return of Groove Armada. Black Light seems to a be a promising album.

Seahorses found in the Thames river

4

Lovely creature, but we always though that seahorses are marine fish (Yes, the are fish, they are actually evolutionary cousins of the pipefish), but it turns out they live in freshwater. They were found not too long ago in the Thames river, the same river that hosted a whale a couple of years ago, which had to be escorted out. The species of seahorse are short-snouted and utterly cute. But, it looks like being in the Thames had an impact on their color of gloom.

Lady GaGa says aunt saved her from cocaine and LSD addiction

1

Before GaGa was GaGa, she was partying hard! So hard that she became familiar with blow and acid way too much. She was apparently addicted to cocaine and LSD (we don’t know how someone can be addicted to lysergide but we’ll let that one go). Whilst having “bags and bags” of the angel dust, GaGa self-intervened herself with the memory of her poetess aunt who died at the age of 19. Here’s what GaGalicious said: “I thought I was going to die. I wanted to be the artists I loved, like Mick Jagger and Andy Warhol, and I thought the only way to do it was to live the lifestyle. My cocaine soundtrack was always The Cure. I would lock myself in my room and listen to ‘Never Enough’ on repeat while I did bags and bags of cocaine….”

P!nk on The Oprah Winfrey Show

6

Finally, P!nk is getting some much-deserved attention. Everyone was baffled by her sophisticated and acrobatic performance on the Grammy Awards for her song “Glitter In The Air.” But, us fans, have countlessly do that on every date and live DVD. The only difference this time was the water splashing. This interview shows a side of Pink that not many people have seen. She’s beautiful as usual and up front. Click below for the rest of the interview and her live performance of “I Don’t Believe You.”

Ask Kathy Griffin to put Pandora Boxx on her reality show

Last week’s first episode of Season 2 of RuPaul’s Drag Race guest starred Kathy Griffin, who, herself, found a great resemblance with self-proclaimed “fake lady” and our favorite contestant Pandora Boxx. Now, a petition is up to ask Kathy Griffin to give Pandora a cameo (or perhaps a recurring role if we’re lucky) on My Life On The D-List.

News on second Kate Nash album

3

It’s almost done and should probably get a summer release in 2010. However, she’s had a couple other ventures up her proverbial sleeve. She joined a band called The Receeders and played a gig or two with them towards the end of 2009. She has a new boyfried named Ryan Jarman, who is part of the band The Cribs and is more famously known for tripping in awards shows, splattering blood all over and claiming the resurrection of Live Aid was his idea. Anyway, gossip aside, the tracks that have been given a name and are allegedly confirmed “I Hate Seagulls,” “Don’t You Want to Share the Guilt,” “Paris” and “Kiss that Girl.” She is also scheduled to tour with the Lilith Fair crew! Exciting year for Kate Nash.

Boy George’s life to be turned into a movie

The BBC are working of a 90-minute drama that will chronicle Boy George’s life. Here the gist: “Gavin and Stacey star Mathew Horne is to star in a BBC Two drama about former Culture Club singer Boy George. The 90-minute drama will focus on how the star went from a cloakroom attendant to a cultural icon. Horne will play Jon Moss, the band’s drummer, who famously had a relationship with Boy George – real name George O’Dowd. The BBC said Worried About The Boy reflects on an “iconic” star and “the cultural era he is synonymous with”. Marc Warren, best known for Hustle, and Mark Gatiss, from The League Of Gentlemen, will also appear alongside newcomer Douglas Booth, who has landed the role of the pop star himself.”

Official cover for Ellie Goulding’s debut album “Lights”

2

We originally though this amazing cover was Ellie Goulding’s artwork for Lights. Now, in keeping with the theme of the single, we get this mediocre cover. It turns out it was made by a blog we frequent. However, this is not too bad and we are currently reeling off of her cover of Sam Sparro’s “Black + Gold.”

Bum sniffer on the loose

The bespectacled, middle aged man has been seen on two separate occasions sniffing the arse of an unidentified male shop assistant in the Plymouth branch of the Co-Op supermarket. The stores CCTV cameras filmed the oddball on two consecutive weekends going about his funny business, Devon police are appealing for witnesses to the attacks which took place on 31st of October and 7th November this year.

Its a bizarre incident. The shop was full of people. Someone must have seen the man. Det Con Steve White told The Sun.
