We love Pandora Boxx

1

We just watched the first episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race season two and we have to admit that we think Pandora Boxx is the bee’s knees. We’ve grown up with Pandora and fell in love with drag culture through her, so we might be a little biased, but, she really showed great sportswomanship on the first episode and managed to wow Kathy Griffin with her ginger wig. We have high hopes for Pandora Boxx. Let’s hope she wins the Drag Race!

Official cover for Maxwell single “Fistful Of Tears”

1

It’s hard to believe that Maxwell’s BLACKSummer’sNight is on it’s forth single. After the first single “Pretty Wings” launched the album and won a Grammy, which we think is undeserved even if we love Maxwell. Two singles followed “Bad Habits” and “Cold.” This one seems to be a charity single because there’s a pink ribbon for breast cancer charities on it. Sweet.

Premiere: Video: “Help Me! Help Me!” by Lucy Schwartz

Lucy Schwartz self-released EP Help Me! Help Me! is now available on iTunes. The EP features tracks such as “Gone Away” and “Gravity” as heard on ER, Private Practice, and Grey’s Anatomy, as well as songs from Lucy’s forthcoming full-length album “Life in Letters.” Get it here. In the music video for title track “Help Me! Help Me!” Lucy takes home-made to the extreme. All props, puppets, costumes, and choreography were done by Lucy herself. It was directed by her brother, Ian Schwartz, and shot in the Schwartz home–which was cleared of all furniture to make space for the giant puppet stage.

Stars sing R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts” for Haiti

2

We were wondering why Mariah Carey didn’t do anything for Haiti as she is a very charitable person if we may say so ourselves. This is a remake of R.E.M.’s classic “Everybody Hurts.” The line-up includes Kylie Minogue, Leona Lewis, Gary Barlow, Cheryl Cole, Robbie Williams, MIKA, Rod Stewart, Miley Cyrus, James Morrison, Jon Bon Jovi and Susan Boyle.
