Wow, she’s looking like a hot mess!
Robbie Williams performs live medley at Brit Awards
4Robbie Williams won the Outstanding Contribution to Music Brit Award this evening. He performed a medley that contained some of his greatest songs like “Let Me Entertain You” and “Feel.” He deserved it as his musical career as a male British artist is unsurpassed and even if his new album Reality Killed The Video Star is lagging a little, every artist has an evolution of up and downs. Let’s hope we get a surprise single soon. Plus, he’s looking dapper and gorgeous as usual.

Interview with Kylie Minogue at the Brit Awards
1Kylie Minogue didn’t win, but she looked good at not winning. She talks about her new album here and says she “passed the half way point” of recording her 11th studio album. She also said that the direction of the album will be straight up dance. Plus, all this auntie talk!
Lady GaGa wins 3 Brit Awards!
Lady GaGa managed to bag all the awards given to international artists at the Brits. That is, except for the Best International Male, which went to Jay-Z. But, had she had some peen, she would have probably gotten that sexist award. Anyway, she deserved every bit and looked like a glamazon receiving them.
Cheryl Cole performs “Fight For This Love” and “Show Me Love” at Brits
1She really made it big this past year and we couldn’t fathom why. But, now after listening to the album closely we agree. In our view, her performance at the Brits was even better than Lady GaGa’s because the costumes were sexier and the little bit that turned into Robin S’s “Show Me Love” was just an epic win. But, we still thinks it funny that Cheryl Cole had to hire vocalist to do that part! She can’t sing y’all.
Ellie Goulding wins Critic’s Choice award at Brits
This was announced before the show. But, Ellie Goulding now joins the ranks of Adele and Florence + The Machine in winning this awards. She is a promising talent. So far, what we’ve heard from her sounds up to par. We never thought she’d climb so high back when we introduced her in July 2009.
Florence + The Machine performs “You Got The Love” live at the Brits
1The Dizzie Rascal was unnecessary at all. We understand that he won the Best British Male Award, but we just don’t see it. We also would have liked to hear Florence Welch perform a song of hers like “I Am Not Calling You A Liar” or “Hurricane Drunk.” Her voice is mesmerizing and we are glad she won Album of the Year for Lungs because it is epic.
Spice Girls win best performance award at Brits
2The Spice Girls legacy is so great that after a decade of separation, they still keep winning awards. The Brits presented them, this night, with an award for most memorable performance on the Brit Awards stage for their monumental and historical goose-bump raising live performance of “Wannabe,” which segues into “Who Do You Think You Are?” An act that ushered in the resurgence of pop. Pixie Lott attends Brit Awards 2010
1Pixie Lott was nominated for a bunch of awards but didn’t win anything. The competition was fierce, better luck next time.

Lady GaGa performs “Telephone” and “Dancer In The Dark” at Brits
5Lady GaGa pulled all the stops for a spectacular performance at the Brit Awards 2010. Nobody expected “Dancer In The Dark” to be performed live, which was a great treat. She also managed to bag a bunch of awards and become the starlet of the night in London.

Lily Allen performs “The Fear” on the Brits
She’s looking spectacular. We think she should have done another song from the album, but this is a nice treat. Let’s hope her new album is in the works and the rumored hiatus is a hoax.

Legendary: “I Can’t Be With You” by the Cranberries
This single from their second album No Need To Argue was overshadowed by monster single “Zombie” and “Ode To My Family.” That is not to say that it doesn’t pack as much of a punch.
Palestinian demonstrators take inspiration from Avatar
5Approximately two weeks after we declared Avatar to be “the greatest movie made about US foreign policy,” this shows up. Palestinian demonstrators against Israeli oppression and aggression took to the street dressed as the Na’vi tribe from planet Pandora from the movie Avatar. It’s a great analogy and, in this case, it was affective in getting them exposure.

Video: “Time Lapse Lifeline” by Maria Taylor
We have forgotten Maria Taylor for a bit even though we loved her last video. But, now that we are in the same exact spot that we discovered her we went for a little rummage and found this second single video. Not as good as “Cartoons & Forever Plans,” but still cute.
